Not really a lot to it. You've got all of these nice effects like the haze on the edge of the planet, but zero detail. Give the land and ice some texture and a broad range of values. You've got a lot of room to work with at 8x6.

All of the pictures are too similar to really choose. Really a matter of personal opnion and mood of the scene or game. A meadow typically is seen as vivid and bright, and I would use the brighter one, mostly because you're using a more cartoony style. However the signs and house bring across a more dark, angry feeling and you really don't want a bright meadow next to a scary old house. Or maybe you do want that. All really depends on the game and what else you plan to do with the background.

Short torso, different length legs, large feet, arm preportions. Colors are a personal choice as Farlander said, and the ones you use, you use very well. I wouldn't change them. Also, the folds in his sleve are almost overdone. The shoulder looks good, but the rest of the arm has too much.

What kind of "morphing" are you looking for?

But I would say your best option is Norplant or something along those lines, like Squinky said. I know that one of the fan types lasts around seven years and costs fairly little.

I'm a fairly good guitarist, though I'm not really great at soloing. Though if I can find one of my guitars I'll be sure to give it a shot.

I actually think that the first image is the better of the two. But there are still some issues. If the major light source is comming from the window, then I would add some dark spots on the right side like you've drawn, darken the wall with the doors in it, and fix the shading on the locker doors.

Yes, RoughDraft is great. It's very simple and easy. There's no real point in buying something unless you are going to try to get yourstories published or something.

I agree that the Discworld idea looks the best, but I think making the unvisitable areas grey instead would work better with your style.

I think a place that keeps track of all of the updates and things for the year would be great. Doesn't need to be a CD though, could just be a website downlaod directory.

I agree with Stuh. All you've done is traced the image. There really wasn't any creative input at all. Try designing your own, or play with some colors. Sorry there's no real point to this thread other then saying "Hey, I can trace!" :/
