I think it would be a good idea as newbies would pick up the basics quicker and then be able to build on them. But before they go emailing us, they should have to read and complete the tutorial and go through the help section before coming to us.

That looks good but in my opinion if you moved the Start, Load, Exit down a bit and moved the title up central on top of it, it might look better. I dont know.

The character looks good. You could use it in a world like the program 'Chalkzone' where there are a lot of 2d characters going around in a 2d world. Also a side question, how do you make and post multi frame animated gif files. I would really like to know.
