Hey everyone! I have a very simple question, and I'm not even sure this is the right place to post...
the thing is, I'm making a black and white game, and the style is that of cartoons from the 1910-1930 era... think early mickey mouse or silly symphonies, stuff like that. in that period, the animators were all hyped out over the fact that DRAWINGS CAN MOvE!?!1+! so, almost everything in the image is moving in one way or another (plants sway in the wind, even though theyre indoor, eyes constantly moving on characters etc.) my problem is, i need for my player character to sort of "bounce" while he's just standing there, but when i assign a "normal" view, it wont animate? i hope this is the right place to post, hehe. stupid question, i know, but i seriously can't figure it out. thank you in advance!

looks good. i think its better with outlines. the mouth seems a bit low imo. and dont be afraid to use white for your highlights. in cases where the image is as small as this, its good with some contrast.

how will the char anims turn out? i imagine they will get all wobbly, but i might be wrong... anyway, nice choise of colors

You site says your looking for people to join your team? id be happy to help out. i don't have anything out yet, but ive done a lot of pixel pushing before, also, i do oil paintings and i would love to try and make some of them into backgrounds ofr a game... im from denmark as well, so we eont have any problems language wise, hehe. tell me what you think of it!

hey! for the last year or so, ive been seeing Deluxe Paint images all sorts of places, and ive fallen totally in love with it! but i cant seem to find it anywhere? does anyone know where i can find an actual deluxe paint abandonware file or a clone of the program? would be highly appreciated

BUT: i think the smashed leg makes it look a little static... maybe if you added some movement to the leg?

you should check out an animation Helm did for a sprite jam ages ago. theres a zombie walking sorta like yours (it gets killed by a flying bunny in the end of the animation?!) it should be possible to find it somewhere.

i love zombies... *sigh*

uhm...

i have a *bleeep* version of EFMI, and every time i get to disc 2, i only see a drawing done in paint, and some playing sorta cards saying "default"... is this some sort of anti piracy thingy done by lucasarts? if so, its very annoying, but also very funny.
my dad bought the original, but i live away from home, and i don´t have a million bucks to spend on software, so thats why i have a pirated version... (this is not something i´m proud of, don´t go thinkin´ that Grace...)
