ooh... good topic.

what to choose from.. yaaargh!

id have to say tobe hoopers texas chainsaw. fucking freaky stuff.

and i just saw jacobs ladder last night. didnt really scare me, but it has great imagery and made a great impression.

im in love with zombie movies, but theres so many to choose from, so im not going to bother.

i actually like blair witch too... on the other hand, i dont find the ring (jap) scary... or good... i just think its plain stupid.

and then theres Crossroads with britney spears... scared the shit out of me...

one does not become punk, just because of a mohawk :P i am aware of the fact that thats what most people associate with the punk evirourment though... but put some holes in his clothes, make the mohawk all the way down the neck, make the colors more harsh and maybe some piercings as well... i think. thats how i looked back in the days anyway... heh.

yes, the colors fit very well together. but i think theres too many variatons of (basically) the same color. you know what mean?  but yeah, i like the colors, but im not a very good color technician myself, so i wouldnt take my words too serious. wait for pessi to comment, and thy shalt be satisfied :)

the perspective and composition bothers me. it "weighs" too mutch on the left side in my opinion. and im personally not a very big fan of gradients, but thats just a matter of taste. hope i dont sound all grumpy :)

very moody. thoug i think some of the synths could be a weezy bit louder.

The outline on the G guy seems odd to me. chunky perhaps. i love the designs though. very cool n cartoony n all. the skull-guy owns. and as said before, the heavy shadows on the 13-kids clothes look strange, when there are no heavy shadows on his face. all in all great sprites. any animations yet?

coolness. i know this isnt very usefull, but i have nothing more to say. i wish my cpu painting skills were that advanced. :)

the reflections look odd imo. you should loose em where they touch the ship. know what i mean? and i think they need to be much more defined than that. idunno...

well, ive had this small game in my mind for quite some time now, and after seeing Harmonie Korine´s movie "GUMMO" i decided that this was going to happen. in the game you have to steal welfare checks from neighbours, bribe young kids to steal pills from the local pharmacy and find ways to get drunk or stoned. just wanted to throw in some pics (first drafts)

copy+paste

main chars home: http://lort.iwarp.com/images/bgd_copy.gif
(17 colors)

and the man himself: http://lort.iwarp.com/images/character_blup_copy.gif
(15)

if somebody feels like helping me out with the music, i would appreciate it. BANJOS! WEE!

note: this is for fun. i don´t have any real problems with rednecks...

anyways...

TA!

ive used a couple of strips for a small zine me and a friends is making. the next issure will come out in 150+ copies. email me if you mind, but be quick! were finishing it up as i type, you see.

and the next issue will come out on cd, and we were wondering if you would want to make a jingle or a track c64 style for it.
