Hey Le Woltaire, did you upload it to your website site as well? Sadly I downloaded the game yesterday afternoon on my slow 2.5kbps (took about 3 hours). Looks like I will have to do this again.  :(

Oh almost forgot to ask, this change in the gui affect both the non talkie version right? So both talkie and non-talkie have the new gui update. ???

One last question, are you gonna also change the gui in Earl Bobby is looking for his shoes as well or are you gonna keep it like that?

Heh wrong post on wrong topic.

I should point out however that I downloaded the original version and the deluxe and that panoramic view is awesome.

This look very good. I like the art style a lot. Hope you make some good and clever puzzles to go along with a great story.

My all time favorite game is Grim Fandango.

Then followed by Psychonauts (Xbox version and not PC version because I perfer playing on my Xbox 360 controller - best controller ever)

Then these in no order:

Panzer Dragoon series (Sega Saturn) - Never played Saga, but I'm sure it would be the best game of Sega Saturn like many have claimed.
Otogi [Myth of Demons & Immortal Warriors] (Xbox)
Virtua Fighter series (Arcade/Sega Saturn/Dreamcast/PS2/Xbox 360)
Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolfs (Dreamcast)
Ninja Gaiden 1 & 2 (Nintendo Entertainment System)
Ninja Gaiden (Xbox)
Shining Force [1, 2, & Sword of Hajya] (Sega Genesis/Game Gear) - Sadly never played the Sega Saturn version, but heard a lot from it.
SNK vs. Capcom: Match of the Millennium (Neo Geo Pocket Color)
SNK vs. Capcom: Card Fighter's Clash [Capcom & SNK version] (Neo Geo Pocket Color)
Skies of Arcadia (Dreamcast)
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind (PC/Xbox version - either way)
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (Xbox 360 version of course with the best controller)
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (Playstation/Xbox Live Arcade)
Mario 64 (Nintendo 64)
Phantasy Star 4 (Sega Genesis)
Phantasy Star (Sega Master System)
Final Fantasy 2 (Super Nintendo)

And last to just joke around...

1. Sneak King (Xbox/Xbox 360)
2. Pocket Bike Racer (Xbox/Xbox 360)
3. Big Bumpin (Xbox/Xbox 360)

The Burger King games rawked hard! For $4 bucks each, they were worth it! BEST $4 BUCK GAMES EVER!  ;D

Sorry to post in a old topic, but does this game link from the AGS page actually work? I've downloaded a large file game only to get screwed when unzipping the file.

I just do't want to get screwed again especially withis this huge file. I got a download manager so it will take me 3-4 days tops.

Ah screw it! I got meself a download manager and downloading it! Already 10MB down! YAY! :D

Well, looks like the link to the download keeps giving me a new download once I stop and resume. Stupid ass website that is linked to it probably doesn't have the resume feature. BASTARDS. Looks like I'll have to wait till I get high speed intaweb.  >:(

The one in black and white outline looks fine to me, now all you need to do is make the arms swing, shoulders and head boop. Bottom animations look fine too. Also if you'd add double the frames, it would look even sweeter.

What game are you making proximity?

Nevermind, I found out which your making. Looks nice!

I was browsing on the AGS medium game length page and I noticed a game in the "T" section had a very good score. 88 I believe and it's been removed. Whats the deal with that? If its been removed, it should be taken out of the page. It makes me feel like I will probably never get to play what could be a great game. Does anyone know what the game title was before it was removed and what was it about? Perhaphs a link for me to check it out? Thanks!

General Discussion / Re: Help With .RAR

We will see how long it takes me to give in to purchase it. I probably never will though since I'm very cheap when it comes to downloads. I only like free downloads, if you catch my drift.  ;)

Yeah, that nag screen. I just close it and proceed with my business. It doesn't make sense why they put it if you can still use it. Its like if someone gave you a free video game (but they call it a demo) and during gameplay a message pops up saying its not free, but you can continue playing the whole game to the end, theres no reason to buy it.

They should have just made it expire completely like some of those program trials I got with my Dell PC.  Until then I will continue to use WinRAR for free to me.

Say, I thought WinRAR was free? I've had WinRAR for like over 3 months and my trail expired, but I can still unzip files with it. lol  ;D

I just checked out the demo. Great work with it. I love the animated scenes. Wow! I also like the fact that there is plenty of text so far. The more text, the more fleshed the characters and story are.

I bet this game will be over over 100MB since the demo had about 2 backgrounds and was about 5MB. Seeing as there are 40+ screens (or backgrounds) I am really looking forward to this game.

Adventure Related Talk & Chat / The House

I guess this is a point and click adventure game...

Turn up the volume and check it out. Play in the dark!

http://fizzlebot.com/sinthai/thehouse.htm

You know what... its kinda dumb. Random clicking on items several times to advance. If only it were longer and in 3rd person with logical puzzles, then it'd be great.

So I guess I should stick to the older games then. I noticed these 2000 and up titles don't have the wacky characters and cartoony art I so like. I'm not much into realistic settings. Ah well...

I'd like to know all the great Adventure games from 2000 - 2007.

The first Adventure game I bought was Grim Fandango (beaten yesterday) and I need another great game. I chose to limit from 2000 - 2007 because I want no problems running the games on XP.

I forgot to mention I'm not into 1st person Adventure games, like Myst. Only 3rd person.

This looks interesting.  Since its a remake, I've never heard of this game before. Then again, I'm still new to click & point Adventure games. Wish you the best with this game. :)

Well, all is done.  :'(

My adventure has ended. Beaten it and enjoyed every second of it. Took me a little over 35 hours and made me want more. I wish the ending was a little long though. I wished it had explained what happened to...

Spoiler
the Department of the Dead (a little scene at least) since Manny was given a retirement ticket to go to the land of eternal rest. I also wanted to see what the other side of the tunnel looked like. I guess it was best to just leave it like that... a mystery. I would like a sequel, but I doubt we will ever get one as it wouldn't be the same without Manny.

I can also definately say this is the best game I've ever played and I've been playing video games since the Atari 2600. No other game has ever had a great cast of characters and epic story. This is a game everyone must play before they die. One last thing...

Spoiler
I love the small scene where Manny in his Grim Reaper suit slashes the flowered ground to reveal Salvador's headless body to get the key. That was ultra memorable!

Now that I'm done with this game I can now focus on these 36 AGS games I've downloaded.  ;D

Mods, can you please close this topic? I am done.  :)
