>Get Flag

I know, I know.... it's a little distasteful to carry around, but you have to think of it from a utilitarian perspective:  it could be used to bandage wounds, or as a parasol under the hot desert sun, or as a chic bath towel down at the oasis. Plus, anything that makes the lamp lonelier can only be a good thing.

+1 I agree the flag could be useful. But I think we should start heading for the dig site(I really wanna know what's there).

I have found with my current project that it helps to develop the world in that your game is set first. So you decide on the theme of your game and start sketching out ideas for places the player can visit to achieve their goal. Sometimes it can be good to plan the intro as this helps you get a better understand of what you're games about, but simply trying to explain it to a friend will quickly give you an idea of how developed your ideas are.

Seeing as it's your first game i would suggest having the main story arc be about the player and his epic journey to escape the room.

I completely agree with you. But you would not believe how complicated an escape a room game story can be(Im making one with a CRAZY long story. The most depressing part is the game will only have 3 rooms)

(Don't actually do this).

>ASK EMMA IF SHE KNOWS C. NEWELL'S LOGIN, USE THAT AND "MARBLEHORNETS" AS THE PASSWORD

(Gabe Newell shared a room with another Newell, who was called C. Newell on the whiteboard).

We need an ID to log into that computer.  Maybe the latest report (dated 1 June 2112) from the drawer would help?

I like the Sonic idea. But it would be even more interesting when someone woud make a game of some little known but interesting fairytale. In my opinion these classic cinderellas and other such fairy tales are boring. Might just be a matter of taste but I like Russian fairytales alot.

I might do something small if my computer gets fixed in time. I'm thinking about doing one about one of the small fairy tale books i've got(there are all sorts of fairy tales in those: Turkish, Indian, Russian)
