Um, this still isn't showing as free on the official website.  It still has the links to buy it, but when I click on the links, it says 'Out Of Stock'. 
Is it something I'm missing?

You're definately right.

Bills come first, before the luxory of a car.  He knows he has to pay you every week, and he has the money to pay you.  He can't just decide not to pay you, cos he'd rather spend it on something else. 

Well, they're saying it's not going to be released publicly, which essentially puts it on the same level as a piece of fan art, so they may avoid a c&d.

But... but... this NEEDS to be released!

Sierra Games returns with new King's Quest and Geometry Wars titles

New corporate owner Activision is set to reactivate those memories today, reviving the brand as "Sierra Games" and promising new games in the King's Quest and Geometry Wars franchises.

The newest King's Quest entry is being developed for 2015 by The Odd Gentlemen, best known for esoteric puzzle platform game The Misadventures of PB Winterbottom.

A new King's Quest?  You don't know how excited that makes me!

It was in the fine print, B. Lots of stuff hiding in the fine print. For example, you have yet to provide the required DNA sample that all bakers must submit to my cloning facility. These clones aren't going to make themselves, you know.
