The bug only occurs switching characters in this scene.
If you do not switch back to Ed and just stay with Anna seems to do the trick for now. Hope you've got a save where you didn't switch to him yet.

Yeah, thanks.  We've had a few people point that one out to us.  We'll probably be releasing a new version eventually that fixes that and the other handful of bugs we've seen.  That one is definitely the most serious bug we've gotten, though.

Is there any way to prevent the game from crashing, or do I have to wait for a new version?   

Loving the game so far.  Love the story, and the characters, and the whole Long Term Memory \ Short Term Memory thing.   

But I've come across a bug that makes the game crash.   

I'm in the hospital with Anna.

Dr Morales has died, and we're discussing his jouneal.  Figured out the code to open it, found the note where Morales said not to trust the police.

It cuts back to Ed and Anna in the hospital... the lift doors open, and the game crashes.  I get this error message. 

This part stumped me as well, and I needed some help.

Once you have Dr Hill's username for the mainframe, you still need his password.

Since the fuses are burnt out, and therefore useless, I think we should drop them.

This really BEGS the question; have you actually tried a real browser?  I do not know how ANYbody that does more than check email (even just those) could actually prefer IE.  You're missing out on a lot the web has to offer.  A lot.  But as I always say, "to each their own".

If by 'real browser', you just mean one that YOU like (you've made it painfully clear you don't like IE), then yes, I have.  I've tried firefox and chrome at various times, and didn't like them.  They are cumbersome and awkward to use.

Sooo... When's a tax coming in to take money for using older versions of Firefox, Chrome, Netscape Navigator etc?

Couldn't agree with this more.

If you're gonna punish those who use an old version of IE, then you should also punish those who use an old version of firefox, chrome etc.
A lot of us actually PREFER IE to the alternatives.
