You need to make a bow by....
1.  Get scissors from kitchen drawer.
2.  Get coat hanger from the bed.
3.  Note ball of string on cabinet next to bed.
4.  Cut a piece of string using the scissors.
5.  Combine string (from your inventory, not the ball of string) with coat hanger.
You now have a bow.

Play violin to cat in the kitchen.  The cat will get scared, and move away from the bowl.  Now LOOK at cat bow, and take thing from cat bowl.

If you are on the ground floor, stairs are on the left and living room is on the right.  Middle door is a swimg door.  Simply walk through it to enter the kitchen.

Hey Mspenguin. 

Yeah, the robot is tricky to beat, but it is possible.  Try to keep your mouse in the middle most of the time, and move it to the robot when it appears.

Another trick is:

Keep using your loaf on toaster in bedroom upstairs.  Eventually you will get slice of toast with a picture on it.  This gives you extra life when dealing with the robot.

You need to use datachip in blue terminal on the right (near the door) to make the lights come on.  Then you can see what you're doing.

Brilliant game Ola.    
The backgrounds are really gorgeous - very atmospheric.  And I love the cutscenes.

The mollusc puzzle threw me a bit.  I thought the game would automatically tell me when I had things aligned correctly - didn't realise you had to press the lower right button at first.   

An excellent game though.   

Maniac Mansion should DEFINATELY be in that list.     It's the prequel to Day Of The Tentacle. 

A couple of independant games I think should be included:
Frasse & Pease Of Kejeck - wonderfully funny, rich graphics, fantastic music.  A definate must.
What Makes You Tick? - A graphic adventure kinda simial in style to LucasArts\ Sierra, but a brilliantly written story.
