writing,
it helps because you can stop thinking and look at the whole picture, you can take a step back even be some one else and look at yourself.
I'll finish my story tomorrow, sorry I'm just not feeling up to it now.

I feel that by your reply you've kind of closed the topic, but I just wanted to say one more thing.
I won't go rambling about my perspective on the world and my place in it, I just wanted to say that you're one of the most thoughtfull kind and admirable (did I wright that correct?) individuals of this community, your integrity, wisdom, kindness and open minded mind :P will allways inspirate me to try my best to be a bit more like you.
I read your .doc and overall you're right, though I believe people help eachother, you CAN help some one if you yourself aren't 'healed' yet, as a matter of fact, helping others helps me help myself.

take care Andail

Adventure Related Talk & Chat / TUTOR ME!

okay, I'll be real carefull with this, since that discussion about help threads is going on and all but I believe it's allright if I post this see,
I'm looking for a mentor, I finally found out the main reason why I practicly never finish a game.
the reason's simple: I know to little of AGS.
therefor I'm looking for a mentor, to help me.
generally I'm looking for some one who can help me enhance my AGS skills aswell as my drawing skills (I really want to learn how to use something else then MS paint).
so if you're:
-pretty good with AGS
-know how to work other drawing programs but paint
-are a nice bloke
help me out here!  ;D
you can contact me through private messages or email (fruittree86@hotmail.com) or just simply reply here.
that's all for now!

quote: "like i'm losing my wife"

I'm sorry if I might sound rude but I just don't understand this,
I myself hate pride, it's pretty much destroying everything, why not tell your wife this very instand how much you love her, what would happen if she leaves you and all the things you both know?
I just can't grasp it...

again I'm sorry if I'm off by miles and it's something completely different
#239
heh thats nicely put  :)

I think every being has the ability to mentally cure itself.
I know it's a bad example but look at me; I failed school got dumped by the one girl that ever dared to love me, am mentally unstable (I'm not dangerous or anything :P just afraid I might go schyzo one of these days) have been sent to a shrink (wich is horrible, in my case I only told her what she wanted to hear, lied my ass off and it made her feel happy and me poor) so why am I even here?
what am I doing breathing and walking?
turn the question around and you've got the awnser:
I AM BREATHING AND WALKING and thats way more important to me then all that other shit, I mean look around there's got to be something that makes you feel kind of happy, that makes you forget yourself? kids? animals? mother nature? a movie? a good book? friends?
I know that in the back of your head these things won't work either but they help me through my day they halp me breathe they help me walk they help me love other things aswell.

I can't stop thinking either,
it's a pain in the ass and I've got no solution for it.
just remember I'll also think of you from now on :) don't feel guilty, ambrace it.

and give some good advice to some one...
it makes you feel good  ;D

dunno if it helped but my head hurts so I'm going to bed now.
see you tomorrow!
