i have been sitting here doing my homework, on the computers on my own, getting away with looking at AGS forums then some B*****  locks me in the media room.

i finally got out by calling the school office from my mobile.

then guess what it's lunchtime, i'm locked in again. OMG I want a school grant for credit so i can be let out of here everyday. This is very wrong, is there a rule against this!

it is a good idea if your not sure if the interface is an easy one to use or the style of the game doesn't fit. you could say that it is a test run and get a few mates to play. careful of bugs though. make it a bi that makes sence by itself.  

i have red the manual and i can't find what i need.
if i just need to search under something else just tell me and i'll read it again.

I do not want to just control the charctor in the background.

i want to put a company logo and animation but i can only make gifs. is there a way of importing lots and lots of bmps and turning them into an animation?

or perhaps is there a free programme availibe that will turn BMPs into the format i require for cutscenes, the computer i animate on is not connected to the internet, i use a floppy to transfer.

* on a side note, is there a way of getting the game to show all speech in one file so i can record it all, or do i have to do that myself?

I loved insult sword fighting, it's not action just working out what goes with what.
check out sam and max, they have things like wack a rat, but that is waaaaay easy.
I would like opitional arcade sequences or an optional puzzle to do insted
so you can do them if you like them but do a puzzle if you don't, i play these when half asleep so never can do fast games!

I have two ideas for my game, i need to have the final ideas done by next week, could you say which is the best and why you would play that?
I would be so grateful...

1. Dragon slayers,
You play as chuck champion (thanks to the person who helped me name him) intrepid adventurer and dragon slayer, but you are 8 and wearing carboard box armour. The two big puzzles i'll use are to find weapons for you and 2 friends, then turing a little sister into a princess as bait.

2.
This is a game starring Gemma, who goes to sleep and has to navigate round her dream world to find a way to wake up from a nightmare.
a funny witty, inteligent girl who does not like pink but is still proud to be female. Based on myself   One planned puzzle is to get past a guard who is scared of mice you have to get a stuffed mouse toy and a vibrator, putting them together causes them to move round the floor scaring the guard.  

Sorry last question, is there a specific time frame for when a game was made to include it in the 'retro' catagory?

that last picture reminds me very much of an oil painting, or with the use of some other thick paint or medium...

what did you use neole? if it was old fashioned computer pixel skills i take my hat off to you. (if i hadn't already eaten it after being proved wrong by my little bro)

JUst another newbie question.

I have read the manual under dialogs, (conversations) and scoured the message boards and everything else before i posted.

I have a many room game so far... and two conversations.
But when i start the conversation my charactor says hello and the other responds with the first topic rather than displaying the options first.

Problems, 1 it is not the only option i also have one other and a goodbye one.
2. i did put the first topic under the @1 line not under @S

i'm a little stumped.
PS. Is the line for changing the conversation after an object is given to a charactor,

the age of 14, girls seem to lose interest in climbing trees and generally being adventurous.

dunno i still like climbing trees, skuba diving, sandcastles, i'm 17. but then again gurkin and chocolate spread omlettes do that to you.
girtls can do what ever they want to all well and good is they want to be girly and well if they don't to be honest i don't and i also like computers, can crash one within 5 minutes.
