Ok I've drawn up this guy to be kinda like a bouncer at a compound (military type thug)
And how hard do you think it would be to draw the animation of him pulling out a gun and shooting at the pc, this is if the pc pushes his luck? Is there anyone with good animation skills that would like to help?

Ok I'm realy having trouble with the animation this is as far as I can get. The finall image of him holding his gun straight out with both hands kinda like a cop is not working I've tried several different way but I can't the proportion right his arms just look smaller than what they are or I have them bent to much?? Gggrrrrrrr..... Well I am learning a lot. Anyone have anyphotos that might work good for reference?? Oh and C&C is still welcome please....

Ok so this character is a guard that will protect the entrance in front of a compound that the player character has to get into. He will be the gate keeper and the pc will have a few puzzles to solve so that the door guard will leave the door allowing the pc to enter. Currentley I'm working on the puzzles and waiting on the rest of the gun animation which is going bad so I had to change too something else, or I'd go nuts. I'll post the finished animation as soon as I finish for some c&c.

Wow! You did an excellent job, have you thought about making a tutorial? What were the steps you took to make them legs so well? I know you did some cuting and stretching but how exactley did you do this....

Evil are you sure you posted on the right one???? thats not a window its a cave opening and thats defiantley not a table!!!! Its a sarcophagus and if your still confused...         Its a coffen  8)

yea.... about that it was kinda shitty so I took it off myself, um heres something a lil better using a paint shop tutorial... Its still not finished I still want to add more too it, I worked on this one for like 4 hours.... So hate it or love it I don't care.... I'm still gonna add sierra style grass too it but I added the ps grass...

TRUCE :) I've taken your advice thou and spent several hours on a bg. I used the tutorial and it realy helped a lot :)

Ok first off I don't think you understood.... Either

For one This is the Critics Lounge U said it wasnt?
For Second I've posted tons before on the old forum and the new one is a lot different, so I'm not new or red, I've used AGS since it was born....
And third I knew the bg wasnt finished, It was so people could posibly show how they might texture it And give some insight on it all, to make mine and maybe others drawing more enjoyable. And as far as adding bushes and all that shit I know that part I just wanna know more about textureing and drawing as I was never that good at it....

Think anyone can help me fix the side view for this character, he's originally from insta game just modified for me but I can't seem to get the side view to look good, I may have screwed up on the walkin frames too??? Anyways check it out, and maybe help me out if ya' can....


<edit> shiat after I made this gif I realized its cutting off some off his movments..... damn it....

So if I were to want some help on a game what forum would be best to do this?? I wouldnt wanna post on the wrong one and cause a AGS uproar  ;D ;D :o But I guess thats why they make moderators!!!!! ???

Well I was wondering, I've looked all over the place and cant seem to find a good texturing tutorial for like cartoony buildinga and what not. Heres a the bg I'm working on it kind of looks like shiat, but does anyone know what I might do to add some texture more 3d look to it??? Also this might be a good thread to add some real good texturing tutorials for just buildings, wood, brick, etc... I'm realy trying bear with me

Thats funny you say that just the other day I sent a pic to m0ds and he said the same exact thing.... hehehehehehe what shall I do to change it mmmhhhhhh......  Oh and the grass and the leaves are default part of photoshop, and I think the stock of the tree might need some work....
