QuoteOkay, do I do this when I'm awake or asleep?

Both. If you do it enough while awake, you'll (hopefully) eventually start doing it while dreaming. And if you check your watch while dreaming, check it again and notice that it doesn't say the same thing, you know you're dreaming. Yippee, lucidity!

Wow, I only got 208 or something when I played it. Care to spoil me with some points that you think are easily missed?

SEND THE TOPIC

A crappy little thing that isn't really finished (and I didn't really want to finish it), but I thought I'd just put something here so Fuzzpilz has something to beat easily.

General Discussion / Re:The dreamer's thread

QuoteHas anybody ever gained the ability to control your dream? You can actually become concious inside of a dream. I can do this sometimes. I used to be able to do it all the time...

Lucid dreams, yes. I used to have lots of those when I was younger, but then I just stopped having them, unfortunately. It wasn't until a few months ago that I finally had one again. The dream itself wasn't so awesome, but the way I realized it was a dream was so silly that it's borderline... well... awesome:

I dreamt that I was at a fancy dinner party at school. There were lots of tables with white cloths,  and everybody was wearing fancy clothing. As I was sitting there at a table, a band started playing on a stage at the end of the room. Then, I thought out loud ty myself this magical line of thought (yes, really, I did think this):
"Hmm. The sound quality is pretty good considering this is all a dream. Hey... what did I just say?"

Then I tried flying. It worked.
Thats the ultimate test if you're not sure if you're dreaming or not. Try to fly. In the dream I just stood up, and sort of started to levitate above the tables. It was fun.

I'd just sneak up behind him and jam a fork in his eye.

A well deserved victory!

Quote8-Bit Ninja (Ghormak) -- This song was very fitting to the character. I really appreciate the old 'nintendo-style' music. Well done!
Whew, I wasn't really sure this kind of music would do well in a compo like this. I made it in Goattracker, which perfectly emulates the Commodore 64's SID chip, so your comment about 'nintendo-style' isn't really correct, though. ;)

I love remixor because he's funny, makes sensible comments, is a music guy and he links to a Daisy quote in his sig.

Evil, unresponsive thing that jerks halfway across the screen every five minutes (which is particulary annoying if you're drawing something in PSP) and drains batteries like a thing that drains batteries a lot.

Don't get it.

But atleast he's (technically) not wearing any pants!

Congratulations!

I live in political ignorance. I don't care about the politicians, and the politicians don't care about me. It works for me.

QuoteI fear the effects of removing the taboo from breasts. What if future generations get too used to them while growing up, and don't find them as sexy?

There are other, quite visible parts of the woman that can be just as sexy...

Stunning work!

You also just reminded me that I ought to update Achtung Franz... you bastard.

Does anybody in India smile?

No, they all look like this: ._.

I'm just speculating, but I think it might have been a bad idea to have both VPXT games nominated. Some people voted for one, and some for the other, whereas if only one of them had been nominated it would have gotten all the votes the two now got separately, and it would probably have won.
