QuoteAnd my name is MATS with one T, not MATT and not MATTS. Man, can't people outside Sweden write my name correctly even if it stands there? That's just plain dumb. No offence really, fellow-agsers, but I'm sick of people writing my name wrong.

Quote...before Mr.Collosal and the guy who made William's nigtmare...

I'm sorry, I don't usually nitpick but this was hilarious.

Very nice graphics. I love how the walls appear and disappear to show you more of the rooms as you walk through them.

Not much of a game yet, but I hope the gameplay will eventually be just as good as the graphics!

I see what you mean
But I still am not convinced
that I was not right.

Difficult indeed,
It is not always easy
to hear syllables.

Aye-dee-ah is one,
Aye-dea is the other way.
Which one is correct?

(Do remember that
I am not native English
before you mock me.

I hope the response
to my haiku is not this:
STFU NOOB!)

OMFG
Is this thread still going strong?
I had no idea.

(Read out acronym,
read it out loud for yourself
and it will make sense.)

If you substract the amount of posts Squinky makes per week (25) with the amount eric makes (18), you ALMOST get the amount of posts I make (5)! COINCIDENCE?!?!

QuotePlaySound 0) in the repeteadly execute inteaction menu

That is exactly your problem. Your sound is starting over from the beginning 40 times per second, and as you can probably imagine that's not going to sound good.

Either look up PlayAmbientSound() as TK suggested (I recommend it as well), or if you definitely want to use PlaySound, do this:

if(IsSoundPlaying() == 0)
 PlaySound(0);

Any of the hundreds of C64 games my brother had. I can't really narrow it down to a particular one.

First PC game was Police Quest I, I think.

An example:

1) Yufster, you are stupid! This won't work at all, what are you thinking? Do you really think they're going to listen to you if you write like that?! Geez!!

2) Yufster, I don't think they will be likely to listen to angry/furious letters. It'd probably be better to be as civil as possible, calmly stating the reasons why you think it should be changed.

1 or 2?

Good lord, that's hideous. I don't like how it doesn't go directly to your inbox when logging in, and everything just seems so... bloated.

It doesn't seem to like me either. Emptying the junk mail folder works, but I get this informative dialog box instead of the usual:

Why do Microsoft products that actually were good at one time get worse with every new release?

QuoteI  just think life is better simulated in real life.

Of course it is, but in real life you don't make your kids go swimming in the pool and then remove any means of getting out of the pool once they're in it, do you?

QuoteIn case someone here likes death metal and is interested in hearing our stuff, just tell me and I'll let you know when our first song is finished and where to get it.

No gloating for me. I only have a 9700 pro omg teh no!

The music is a bit boring and repetitive, and the intro music could have been better too. I think you should put a hit on the composer. The only complaint I have is about the music, really, because everything else rocks my socks and the skin on my feet off.

I must have played with the light switch for 30 seconds when I first found it.

From the quotefile:
Quote[19:08] <Ghormak> When I played the Sims, somehow I always made all the women bi-sexual.

So yeah, the Sims is nice, but gets boring quickly. It's not much of a game, since they don't age and stuff like that. Sims 2 however should be nice.

I know it's not really fixed, and it does indeed work well in some places, it's just the exploring bit that annoys me. When I enter a new location with wonderful machines and strange symbols everywhere, I want to be able to look around freely, and not have to run from wall to wall to catch a small glimpse of everything.

And that is why I'd want a game with a freely adjustable camera.

QuoteOr like the Cameras in the explorable 3d environs in GK3 (1999), Normality (1995) or UAKM (1994)?

I have to check them out then.
