This is not an "ultimate list"- games come and go and any such list will eventually be outdated- but if you want to get a test of good games that show off AGS's flexibility, I recommend these titles. There's everything in there, from classic point-and-click to platformers, simulations and puzzle/boardgame style gameplay. Quite a few Award Winners in there, too.

Apprentice 1
Apprentice 2
Cart Life
Annie Android
Colourwise
Indiana Rodent
Duty and Beyond
The Infinity String
Sheep's Quest
Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy

Okay. But as a small protest against devoting my vote for voting to vote if we are against voting to vote, I will post my score OUT OF ORDER!
Take that, democracy! Tantrum!!!!!!

And seriously, whatever the majority says is being said by the majority and thus true. Even on the interwebs  (laugh)

2nd Place: waheela (2 points)
1st Place: jwalt (3 points)
3rd Place: selmiak (1 point)

This is SO backed. 2.99 Euros, and I'll throw in the deluxe recipe for that dish with the Maultaschen.

We should vote if we are willing to vote against the voting. Any votes? No?

Toss the silver, says me. It is your competition and your rules.

Downloaded (my desktop if full of Oceanspiritdennisness now!) and started. Hilarious! Now to figure out how to beat them all!

That is a lovely, lovely poster, Corby. Wouldn't look out of place on a high fantasy novel's jacket. Really smells of adventure; can't wait! Can't wait!

They focus on C++ and C#- pretty nice site. Hope it's useful!

Great. Now I'm all self-conscious about saying gif aloud! Bummer!!!
Know what I'll do from now on? I'll just hold up a SIGN whenever I talk about gif. Or png. Or maybe I'll just switch back to bitmap. At least that's an actual WORD!

Well, there are several bookmarks I could offer, but many of these aren't C++. What exactly are you looking for? Programming in general, OO, specific C++ code? And what are you trying to improve on, game programming? Or are you trying to become a better AGS scripter?

Nothin's better than free keys that make people happy.  (nod) And I got the game myself and it isn't bad at all either!

The guys at Penny Arcade are giving away free keys for On The Rain-Slick Precipe Of Darkness 3. I have not played that game, but well, free is free, eh? Look here: http://penny-arcade.com/static/rainslick-giveaway

Apparently they'll do it as long as they have codes...

from the look on his face you can see the raven had too much of his coffe already :D

It's possible to use "too much" and "coffee" in one sentence?  ;)

Spoken like a man who hasn't released a new OSD game when clearly it has become a very fashionable thing to do.
I'm disappointed in you, Ghost. (wrong) ;)

So am I. Disappointed in me, that is. I failed- there is no other way to say it- but at least I failed in a highly interesting way. You see, my plan was to make an OSD / Chance-of-the-Dead / Leisure Suit Larry crossover, fully voice acted of course, all by myself. I started with an awesome logo and that hardly took me four months (two for downloading Blender on my shitty internet, twelfe for becoming the best Blender renderer ever, two for therapy). I was almost done... and then my time machine broke.

But still, technically I partially released OS-related material thanks to kconan, who used all those awesome lines you never made into a game!  (laugh)

Also, I NEVER do the fashionable thing. Only when it is fashionable.

I think this was the most bestest voiced-overed OSG gamez EV4R when Ponch did the releasings of it. Now it beings the same even more so.

Oh man! So many cool entries and only ONE VOTE?

I like both jwalt and waheela's entries a lot. Can't I vote a tie? No? Ah well.  (laugh)

I think jwalt's use of the shape is really great, and it fits the theme so nice, so: My vote for jwalt!
