Apart from trying different resolutions, had you tried setting up the game to run in window, or disabling the music and/or sound outputs, etc. ?


The (strcpy/strcat) part in the info was a bit suspicious though...

Hmmm try putting a display line in it to check if the view was indeed 20-1, like:

What format did you save your sound files in?
If they're of the .WAV format they must not be compressed.

Since Cobb got killed looking under Bobbin's hood, and you can see light emerging from under it, that must be a sign of somethin'.

What can that be?

The only possible explanation was that Bobbin was in fact, our HITMAN!1!

Actually I think that's quite strange, I wonder why they'll work and even compiled without errors.
Stuffs put outside of any functions are for initialisations and variable declarations, etc. only.
If you want some actions to be done in game, the scripts must be put into some functions, for example if you choose an interaction response to run script, it will create some function like room_a(), etc in the script, so everything should be in functions.

Judging from your code, I think you want it to happen every game loop right? Then it should be in repeatedly_execute(). You're right in saying that if you execute many stuffs all at once the engine may be slowed down with slower computers but you cant prevent it if you really want them to run together.

Woohoo! It's JUDGEMENT DAY!

I'm quite pleased to say there're quite a few funny entries this time, unfortunately some of them didn't hook up with the size restriction of not more than 50x50 pixels, as I said before, I'm strict on rules this time, so these entries won't be judged (some of them are funny though).

And it's my pleasure to have Eric disqualified as well.
Because of the same reason, "Pesty, you can't win!1!" Since I don't need to the follow the tradition of Pesty-beating-Eric anymore, as his entry was not coutned! (And because princess 2ma2 made me giggle like a girl, shameful!)

Hehe because I'm a person who won't download unfinished game demos I won't make one either, they makes me never ever have to start anything here :D .

Well actually I won't like to post screenshots, info., etc. either, so I'll just post directly in the complete games forum when my games are (ever) finished!

Well music0 is supposed to be played automatically if exists, when you start a game, so it's also not advisible to use it either if you don't want the game to behave like that.

But I agree that there're at times, quite obvious things that we overlooked (though I think that mistake was too obvious for you, Ben ;D ). I remembered once I had my game generated a warning like "Warning: cannot find sound5.wav", but I didn't put in any sound and any reference for playing sound files, I was all crazy about it as I couldn't find the glitch, so I nearly posted here for help, luckily before that I suddenly found out that you can now set sound associated to frames in views, that I wanted to give a frame a delay of 5 but somehow accidentally clicked "sound"...

Not possible at the moment I think, you have to use some variables to track it, like what you mentioned.
