quick and dirty... low res piccy of a plate of Ghoji Berries, aka Acai, aka Wolfberries I think they call them too. The latest in a long line of nature's superfoods (TM). They contain uber levels of good stuff like amino acids, nitrogen, stuff like that. :)

Hey, I mean it. It came out in a real dead space, and now although there's definitely beginning to be a lot more around, and the mobile apps etc., it was still great at the time and just refreshing to see the confidence on display. :)

More power to you. And I will sincerely try and post on your forums ASAP and frequently. :)

I'll add you on the blog roll on Inherited Tigers too. For what THAT's worth. oO

The first link is a how to for making sprites and the second one links to PD (public domain) teaching sheets, including walk cycle, run cycle etc. :)

Might be useful to you, hope so!

Reality-on-the-Norm / So making a RON game

Do RON games have to be very self-referential? Or can a new bit be added to the town? I don't mean totally random I mean use a little bit not yet used etc.?

With the existing characters, can they just be background characters in most cases, with some new people added?

Go and bark somewhere else, little dog.

So...

game start

gui.visible=false

then

(y coordinate of mouse > value say 500){
   gui.visible=true
   etc. etc.
}

(y coordinate of mouse < 501{
   gui.visible=false
   etc.etc.
}

?

Cool!

I really liked El Ammo and I thought it would be sad if the makers had faded out. Looking forward to the next release.

General Discussion / LOST sprites

I am doing a whole series of them for a series of games / minigames etc. so as I finish them I will put them up.

Not all of them are close to the LOST originals for reason due to the games I am doing them for. :)

The RON concept is sound, even if the snarled continuity and lack of a simple timeline etc. seems to be offputting to newcomers... Maybe there could be an ABANDONED thingy somewhere where people can put their game fragments out for adoption... like a puppy pound for games or something.

I dunno just thinking "out loud". :)
#58
Can you post a pic of what you want?

Just a pic or a diagram
#59
Am I missing something? (probably) :) but wouldn't you just set where you wanted the GUI then in its properties change it so that it appears on mouseover, then set the Y coordinate to your liking?

Please forgive me if I have missed the point.

Aces. Something about this one is deeply appealing to me, no idea why.
