I can't believe, how can you leave out the classic Novo Mestro? If you're not convinced of its extensive sexual contents read the happy players' comments!

Damn right, Gilbot.
Some idiotic prude from Poland even got offended by Novo Mestro's ample amount of nakedness, french erotica and sexual innuendo.

Damnit, be a man, Jannar!
Insult everyone or don't leave at all.

P.S. Farlander's much smaller than a hobbit. During Mittens he slept in a drawer in which Andail kept old comics.

Ah, but open office is soo passe, just like el Che.
Now it's Adam Smith and Microsoft Excel, bro!

"Quest for Glory 4.5" has the best scene of a man-centaur date in the whole gaming history.

Thanks Scotch and others, few hours ago I avenged Squinky's dad and bought the HP. :D
It's beautiful and heavy. And the panoramic screen is pretty handsome, as well.

As for the lacking 20 gigs, with a dvd-burner it's not much of a problem; most of our storage is consumed by Dominika's raw photographs and it's time she practiced some proper archivisation...

Now I only have to get used to XP and its colourful dumbness (You cannot see these files because you may spoil them and everyone will die!!!) and wash my old MS-Office CDs in vodka (works wonders).

Eh, the production is rather slow these days, actually it's nil for about 2 months.

The thing is, I finished my second studies and on 20th I defend my MA diploma... and it occured to me that it's time that Goldmund found a real job (my age and recent engagement to Dominika [!!!] were two deciding factors).
Bitten by this conscience I find myself uncomfortable working on something that -- at least on the monetary level -- is a hobby and won't repair my financial situation, not to mention securing my future...
Damn this life!
I've sent about 10 applications without a reply so far (unemployment being one of the biggest problems of Poland) but as soon as I get my boring cubicle and start to write some stupid promotional texts for cosmetics or the like, I'll complete this love-child game of mine... fast.

Hey C, it's not so easy to kill this old dog!

Thanks for the advice, but where exactly lies the superiority of Athlon over Centrino? Or is it just an overall reputation?

Voila

This one is from the ezboard AGS forums (Ah! The longing!), the first I used after I had registered:

The above is Chris Burden, an American performer, crucified on a roof of a Volkswagen.

Then I had this in 2002:

Which is me in classy b&w.

Then I had this, also since 2002:

Which is me in classy revolutionary red.

And now I'm just a sphinx from Michel Folon's picture.
Who knew it would come to this?

Well, it's got to be portable, since my girlfriend will drag it around with her camera. Still, the aspire is about one kilo lighter than the hp - but is it as durable?
Questions, questions!

Thanks to all who replied; I'm still at a loss, though. The aspire is a bit more expensive, but not so much that it could be a deciding factor. And who knows, maybe I'll finally take liking to fpp shooters? ;)

We're going to mainly use it for photoshopping, typing and live music (on reason software). The soundcard plays no role, as I have the MobilePro audio interface.
The laptops to choose from:

1) Acer Aspire 1681WLCI,
Centrino 1500M, 15,4"TFT
512 Ram, HDD60 GB
DVD/CDrw
Radeon 9700, WIFI G, 3in1, IRDA

OR:

2) Hewlett-Packard zv5000
Athlon 64 3000+ 1,8
512 Ram, HDD40 GB
DVD-R/RW
GeForce 440 GO 64 MB III

From what I know, it is much better to have DVD-R/RW than a combo, which tends to be faulty, but let's say I might order to have the drive changed in the Aspire.
I'm completely at a loss however as to the superiority of other specs (especially graphics card - which one is better?)
If any person of deep knowledge and understanding of laptoppy lore could express their opinions, I'd be grateful!

It was quite pleasant, but after screwing with the whole crew of the station (both sexes) I somehow lost an incentive.
It would be great if he added some special events, like said above, and if "working" meant actually doing something. A bit of a plot would also be nice, even though it's a life-sim.
Great "bravo!" for making it a game for all sexual preferences, this is very laudable!

Bluecup is slowly turning into a tea-pot in these logos.
Ah, kids... you never know what will become of them.
#273
Like, maybe 2ma2? Have you tried contacting him?

You have no enemy-given injury, that's good to hear.
But have you injured any enemies? Or is it top secret?
#275
Erik Satie?

That's all I've got to know. He's the only composer that I like so much that I have learnt to play his works on the piano (mainly Gnosiennes).
This game will rock.
#276
Yep, Farl, Rise of the Rising Sun is bound to have the most surprising plot evar.
#277
Old members don't frequent it, because when they were Young and AGS was Young there were no Hints forums.
You had to do everything by yourself.
Person asking for hints would be called a pansy back then and fed with very fresh brie. Later on we would ride on the back of that person all the way around the campfire through the howling night.
(Because it was always dark and the Earth knew no dawn back then, when AGS was DOS-based.)

This old thread was an interesting read.
It has informed me that one year ago 2 people were waiting for my game, whereas today there are 4.

The Time is working for me!!1

Hey, thank you for remembering my game!
I've still some work to do (around 20 rooms, some music&sfx, missing texts and animations), but it's definitely close to finish.
As everybody knows what are the 'loudest' awaited productions, I'd like to list two that are not so widely discussed:
Force Majeure 2!!!
Shadowplay!!!

(and is Byzantine happening at all? as for Tulles World 4 I've got some not-so-enthusiastic insider's info...)

Ha ha, oneironaut? This sounds interesting, a very nice idea!
Great to hear you're still working on this.
