I think that proves the daring hypothesis of dr Kontschala that ancient Bulgarians rose monuments depicting excrements.

Once again, thank you. Your words are very pleasant and your cream will look great on my birthday cake.

And Eventwolf: Fat Lolo (from a happy retirement house in Florida) asked me to post this poem, which meaning I can only ponder:

Tho' them sands o' time
Cover my mug
Ah will raise again
And wave mah flag
Attached to mah penish! (repeat)
Those who won't make me an adult game will perish!*
choir:
check it out, man, check it out - for they will perish!

* - an interesting yet rarely met example of a rhyme that works only in silent reading.

Aha, interesting!
I gather that you're talking about the graphical interface, yes?
I never use it (the habit from earlier AGS versions), so I'll give it a try...
Thanks for the tip - although usually my script's so full of conditionals that the execution may be a bit tricky...

Part 1:

Is it possible to give the Designer more control over where character portraits in "sierra style with backgrounds" appear?
In some rooms I've got important stuff on the left side of the screen so I'd like character portraits during dialogs displayed on the right, and vice versa.

Part 2:

Is it necessary for RunDialog to disrupt the script it is called from?
I'm speaking about the instances when I'd like the script perform something after calling a dialog. As it is now, the RunDialog command executes the rest of the script first, and after it finishes, the dialog is called, so I'm using set-globalints in the dialog to be later checked in repeatedly execute, and according to them the game executes later parts of the script. This is a rather complicated and dull process.
Any chances on making rundialog behave like a normal function?

yours,

Ah!

Thank you and thank you! I feel so elevated, friends-surrounded and welcome that I'm planning to leave and come back on a daily basis.

Even AGA served me the oldest joke since a caveman hit another with a club.

I was very exhausted after making the poster to my honour (the one you see in the initial post) that I had to rest a little. Now I'm going to read all the undoubtedly learned and exhilarating things you wrote here during those long months.

Yes!
Great minds think alike and feel nostalgia for AGS boards at similar times.
Come, herr Squal, let us visit the old corners againe, hand by hand, buttock by buttock.

I feel somewhat unhappy that you didn't tell me you were going to publish my quick notes about Donna as a stand-alone article, Vel.

Had I known about this, I would spend more time on making it both better in stylistic and grammatical aspects and more enjoyable to the public. The text was intended for you just to get an idea about the game and write a proper preview. It's a bit ironical that you introduce me as a professional writer and then publish my unsystematised and linguistically lacking notes.

These are the best backgrounds I've seen on this forums for a long time!
Congratulations.

Nothing can be as good as The Eye of Argon, Naranjas. I've heard that even Joseph Conrad was stealing from Jim Theis.

Flippy: I had no time to read it all, but I always advocate young writers to ban themselves from using pistols in their stories. The results are sometimes astonishing even for the authors.

I say, make a virus that destroys all the versions that the cheapskates have!
That will teach them not to have money.

LOL, just joking, k'?

People, I don't know about you, I'm registering, although it's very expensive for a Polish man.

Wondering about underground atmosphere, Barcik?
Dig yourself a tunnel!
Hahahahaha!
Because you resemble a hobbit!

Wow! Congratulations, CJ!
From now on AGS will be found in Astalavista and Crack.ru search engines!
You may consider yourself a pro!

I will pay the fee gladly as soon as I have the money, and I'll have my job interview on monday, which means that in a month I should be rich enough to afford it. Unless they pay less than I hope.

Do you have any special financial program for AGSers of Eastern Europe?

There are times when I don't post with an intent of being serious.
But I do realise it may be difficult to tell.

This Monkey Island mockery game cries for revenge!

DG, I'm sure you can tell them off.

Slacker Quest.
It was a nice experience because it has a storyline and characters quite different from the cliche. More life-like. And although it was quite a simple game from the modern WindowsAGSPluginSystem point of view, I still remember it with fondness.

Gratitude.

My dialogue options are displayed always in black, and yellow when highlighted.
Now, yellow doesn't look particularly legible on a white GUI I'm using to display the options.
Is there any way to change the highlight colours?

Draw your own characters. Almost nobody would spend time downloading a game starring Roger The Deafault. Me included.

um... how do you listen to it? My lazy WinAmp doesn't want it.
