Aha, but is it this famous 32-bit graphics, Erico? I mean, the character's edges looked anti-aliased? Or am I really dumb when it comes to graphics?

Ah, this seems just like a poltergeist phenomenon. (always wanted to say this!11!!!1)

Parapsychologists claim that such occurences, plus "strange knocking" and "telekinesis" are caused by a teenager in the house, who possesses paranormal abilities yet is unaware of them. When he/she realizes it is him/her that's behind those antics, they stop. When the kid grows up the occurences tend to disappear as well.

Wait, I made a mistake!!1 Cold air, you say! Well, then your room is really haunted. How about an exorcist? Only make sure his heart is in better shape than Max Sydow's.

It's interesting how revolutions can become passe in a pompous and irritating manner.
On my seminar on "body in culture" we've been watching a documentary about a woman who fought for contraception in USA. She smuggled diaphragms in wooden boxes that contained the smuggled rum (it was the period of the prohibition).
At one point there is a scene in the movie when wooden boxes with diaphragms inside float on waves, all this accompanied by extremely lofty piano music and the commentary: "This was when first diaphragms appeared in USA".
It's as if those stupid diaphragms were kind of pilgrims sailing on their rum-box miniature Mayflowers to the New Land.

I think that the most common error is that designers make opening sequences garrulous.

I hate it when a game presents me with lots of talk before having me interested with playing at all. I believe that the best opening sequence is one without dialogues, or little dialogue. Of course, you have to describe the quest to the players, but I think it's better when they have to discover it on their own.

So - I vote for interactive, yet not too wordy.

Why only one? It isn't exactly that "A" was complaining from the abundance of written material.

Interesting how he has to write the same several times in one document. They're quite lengthy and I think they must've been a bit boring to write.

Also note that all the necessary animations are mentioned and even flags. Apparently, after giving such a document to a team, the designer can relax in a jaccuzi - unless he has to check whether graphic slaves have appropriate vision.

Funny: in the ending sections (LSL5) he wonders whether some things are technically possible, whereas they're a piece of cake for AGS! Puma is better tahn Sierrah!!1

Exciting!

This time I'd prefer to be paid for my main role, mind you.

This is a hottie!... Smooth and elegant!...

No one could tell it from a proffesional product! - (grumpy glod adds: which is both a compliment and a complaint to my world-weary heart)

Yeah, longer would be brilliant... but this was the same with Sabbath-Day Assassin: I've noticed it's Eric's modus operandi to create something very short but longjohns wetting all the same... like an olde Creole lady in a mansion  saying: "oh, and I also can do THIS..." ... then leaving everyone in a room with open mouth like a coquette he is!

Sorry, Dorcan, but you're simply lying! Don't be afraid of your Frenchness!

Take a look here:

(congratulations, by the way!)  ;D

Tex Murphy: Overseer also had 3d exploration, but - like in latter parts of Nomad Soul - it was spoiled by poor puzzles.

Ah, to get my hands on Nomad Soul engine!... Okay, after I hire my programming monkey.

Coming back to BS, is the protagonist also so dull and irritating as in previous 2 parts?

's good, I dug it.

Welcome back, Dorcan.
I hope you're here to stay and will give us another great game from the French AGS Genre.
But didn't your officers in the army tell you that games are for whimps?

Farlander: Well, you don't seem to remember, but you and me had a day in Sweden when the top joke was to point at completely ordinary objects, such as household items, and ask in a completely serious, wondering voice: "Is this a penis?". We were very smart.

Dorcan: Arr, I'm really glad you want to beta-test! With pleasure I add you to the (yet non-existant) list. When you have more time, write a line or two, I'm curious of your opinion.

QuoteFizz: haha  That's the two of you

If you seriously want our opinion, not just praise, then well...
Think if you really want answers. They will be based on particular person's taste. Is this person your girlfriend? No. Are there people who would laugh at perfume, necklace and letter? Yes.

A matter of taste, or maybe age? I'm laughing like mad when I remember what gifts I bought to my first girl.

Don't worry.

Ha ha, you silly Nacho "Is This a Penis?" Farlander!  ;D
I will release a special porn version for you. Or maybe not.
I will release a special non-nudity version for you, because you have to be punished for living in Benidorm when it's so cold in Polandia.

I'm very happy you like it!

Juncmodule: tyeah, pretentious -- well, the truth is, an adventure game has the potential of being a Gesammtkunstwerk plus interactivity to top it off -- and whereas it's pretentious or not depends on a) your stance and b) level of description. B), because for some morons books are pretentious as well, so it depends where you stand, and A), because I have to say that some pretentious amateur games already appeared and they had this feeling of trying too much to be artistic. I'm sure my game doesn't go there, but yeah, it all depends on the level of description, so for all I know most of the "regular" players may take me for an artsy beret-lover.

Piraatelife-4me: I love your description of the design, we had some cut-out films in Poland long ago and I know what you mean. And let's just say that I definitely would make you pay for my game in a retail store, but Erin O'Connor's + Franka Potente's  lawyers and hundreds of pissed-off photographers dragging me to courts isn't my idea of having a great time. ;D

Thanks to all for their uplifting comments.
I'm making this game for so long I'm actually afraid to finish it!

Bionic Bill - with great pleasure and gratitude.  Most probably I'll need around 5 beta-testers, 1-2 native English speakers among them to correct the language, but it's still a matter of three-four months ;D

I have to tell you that you may get love letters from me for half-price. I also use pink stationery and even sprinkle it with my armpit moist.

SSH: Thats OK, but farts tend to travel better.

I say, this Adventure Games Award is better than the one made by DG, because it has assasins in it.
I declare DG a half-wit for overlooking such an important aspect of any Adventures Games Awards ceremony.
