Messages - Goldmund

I very much like videos of Marilyn Manson, whereas I don't dig the music itself. I think that the videos started a very interesting trend, something like "utter beauty in ugliness". Like in Tourniquet (sp?), Sweet dreams etc.

Hey Eric, you have a good taste when it comes to ladies.
;p
Any hints as to the exact location of the DIJ tattoo? A photo or something? Just pure academic interest...

I feel as if I replied to this thread many times, so this time I'd go with a few special songs that come to my mind.

These are all magical.

Death in June - Daedalus Falling; What Ends When The Symbols Shatter

Nick Cave - Do You Love Me 2; Stranger Than Kindness

Einstuerzende Neubauten - Seele brennt; Armenia; Befindlichkeit des landes

Leonard Cohen - Dress rehearsal rag; Teachers; Master song

Jean-Michel Jarre - Ethnicolor 2

Cocteau Twins - Pandora

Bauhaus - Slice of life; All we ever wanted

Sisters of Mercy - Some kind of stranger

Lou Reed - whole Magic and Loss album

Laurie Anderson - Coolsville; Freefall

Listen to them and you know me like an old shilling.
There's also one song that I listen to when I'm very happy because something good happened to me. It's "I've seen this face before" by Grace Jones. Come to think of it, I haven't heard it in ages.

Hell yeah, your game really got me going. It's wonderful to see that somebody uses the greatest advantage of amateur games: freedom of speech.
I'm pro-Ilona all right.
Finally nice kids got what they deserved ;)
I especially liked the custom "interact with yourself" message :D
Of course, the game would benefit from some more work, like eliminating white pixels from inventory items graphics. But the crudeness somehow works well with the subject matter.
Please, make some more games with Ilona.

Haha, this was neat and funny.
I liked the sighing elf, and the whole concept!
Pity it's not longer.
Great snow effect - is it the plugin?

It's wonderful, and from the little french I can understand, very moving and serious (I always thought that MAGS is a humorous competition, he he <-example of humorous response).
I would love it if somebody translated it... the intro with the book is great... the game is very sad... and I'm stuck:
Spoiler
I'm already outside and have the mousetrap... I think I need the mouse to scare the clerk at Fast Food and get the mobile phone, but I cannot place the mousetrap back at home - I think I need a bait (hamburger) but how to obtain it?
[close]

The only downside is the lack of "look" messages and I found a bug: you can get the bedsheet repeatedly when clicking at the wardrobe... anyway I really like it, congratulations, Dorcan, another quality release! You grow to be one of my favourite designers here ;-)
And I also love Moby Dick...

Ha ha hah Trapezoid!...

And Andail I sense a blockbuster coming!!!! Run, Sibylla, run!
Will the backgrounds be animated? Will there be flying cars? Do the Thule still exist in the future? Is it canned and sold in distributors? What is this religious minority group - can it be catholicism? Is the Pope in danger? Will Sibylla finally take off the Roger Uniform? So many questions! I cannot wait.

Well I played it for some time, and although the interface is rather un-intuitive, I liked how different it looks from other AGS games, which is definitely a good thing.
I think that we should do more research into 1st person productions, I think that the work should go quicker (no main character animations) and it may be done well (Callahan's Crosstime Saloon for instance).

Hey, really nice!
Pity it's not longer.
I liked talking animations a lot.

But... haven't you ever heard that satan has a tail?22?2!11! FOOL!
If you included tail I would like this game much more.

Really? That's sad. PD is the hallmark of amateur adventures, not only AGS ones.

On the other hand, there's no head-chopping in it...

Good point, EHCB. Yes, the greatness of IF lies partly in the total abandonment of "use" command.

GREAT! 2ma2 YOU ARE SOMEONE VERY SPECIAL!

I ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO POST THEIR FAVOURITE TACTICS!

My FAVOURITE TACTICS is to come close to the ninja, wait when he throws his shuriken, and when EGO dies by jumping up kill the ninja in this exact moment this way THEY BOTH DIE and it is FAB.

...and nowadays there's usually the shorter way of writing "examine", since one does it so often - it's "x"

I would also advise you to download Hugo or Tads, Sylpher. Tads gone HTML you can make such a stone-tablet background, and Hugo plays sounds, music and even has avi-support.
But these are just trinkets. What you get, and this is important, is a HUGE parser, ready functions for containers, openable objects, characters, capacity of containers, even telephone calls and weather (advanced users add to the functions library on-line).

I liked it, it was really smooth, although the story wasn't too appealing for my wicked tastes. Entertaining dialogue, though.
One huge disadvantage was that the only two "puzzles" I had trouble with, and spent most time on, unfortunately were a technical fault. One was caused by the fact that the shovel was too big to deduct its hotspot - I've thought of digging up this cross loooong before I tried once again and finally aimed correctly. The second was that the presence of the alley on the right was rather unexpected, with no graphical hints.

I didn't e-mail Yahtzee.

I use Goldmund because it sounds stupid.

Which reminds me:
Lucky bastards without strange letters in your real name!
I hate you!
How am I supposed to be a famous writer in, say, England, when my full name is Blazej Krzysztof Dzikowski, and "l" and "z" is hyphenated in Blazej (you read it like: "Booashay").

Better think up my writer's nom de guerre. Like Gary Cox. Or Fat Lolo. Or Philboyd Studge.

M0DSo, please be so kind as to write what demos are there in the pack, because I have some of your products already.
