@gypsysnail: Did you try using the latest version of WinRAR? (and may I ask you how you can be good with computers if you can't open RAR files?)

Yay! :D Looking forward to play..

I think it is all the reason of Blame The Victim psychology ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victim_blaming ). People want to blame, or at least make fun of someone who was victimised the same way they 'could' be.
When a woman gets kidnapped by a car of men, we want to blame the woman just because she was walking carelessly. We try to forget we usually walk in the streets less careful and pretty open to any threats.

That "humorous" videos are the same thing, IMO.

I had seen a parody Flash animation cartoon of this video in deviantArt.
While I was just searching for something interesting to see, I found that parody cartoon that was one of the most favourited Flash animations in the dA. The comments that deviation got was usually making fun of a boy who was "teabagged" (I didn't know the 2nd meaning of this word), just a few were saying it was wrong to have fun with something like this.

I wondered what that cartoon was about, and watched it.

After learning what really happened; I was really shocked how people would make fun of such a sexual assault.

I think the rape victim females will be shown on TV's just for "OMG SHE WAS ASSAULTED LOL" in the future.

We live in a world where cruel is awarded and the victim is blamed.

If the game takes place in a fantasy setting, I don't think the language indifference would be any problem; everyone may talk a common language like Basic.

As I have understood, the civilizations in the game had never encountered before; so there weren't any connection among them before the game's time. Maybe you can use a images-in-balloons system like in Buna Wants Beer? ( http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/games.php?action=detail&id=608
1, 2 4 sounds good to me, though.

I'm not such a fan of stealth action games; but The Double Agent looks damn exciting. I would want to play it if I could (guess my PC won't run it even if it is released for PC's.).

As ManicMatt said; it is not possible for us to reach the files that are in your harddrive.

If you want us to see them; then you have to UPLOAD them (you know what 'upload' means, do you?).

Edit: I give up, too.

General Discussion / Re: Beautiful? Any ideas?
Wed 18/10/2006 18:25:02
What is beauty?

I think it is just the thing we want to see or we need for.
Maybe a double cheeseburger we see on a dish or just a glass of icy water as we are in a moment of shortage.
Maybe just a view of nature... Or just our family.

The reason why beauty's subjective is that our needs/wants are different.

Well; this is just a quick theory of mine for beauty. It could be all wrong.

Good luck with the second game :) It looks better than the first one.

Hello...
Well; I was working on the deluxe version of Lost in the Nightmare 1.
http://americangirlscouts.org/bbc.com/yabb/index.php?topic=23427.0

I need some help.

*I have decided to use original music. So I need musicians who could make musics to replace for the old, ripped music tracks. The musics used in the game don't need to be new; it doesn't ammter if they may be some tracks that you had composed and used in other games. I just feel ashamed for using unpermitted music.

*Proof-reading. I don't need to tell again how awful my English in LitN was (and probably still). I don't want the new players of the game to see the old, crappy translation of mine.

*A website designer for the Lost in the Nightmare game series would be great.

And also any other help is most welcome.

Please PM me if you are interested.
Thanks ;)

I think the walkthrough of Trilby's Notes was somewhere in this forums; search for the topic og TN in probably Hints&Tips or Completed Games Announcements. If I remember correct
Spoiler

Well, I just wanted Alper Taner to look evil. We wouldn't be sure who the real evil character was.

Looks interesting :) Now I'm downloading the demo.

Edit: Now I've finished the demo, it was simple and enjoying. Good luck with the full version of the game.
#455
Thanks...
Yeah, I can't say you aren't right about the negative points. Everyone can be sure that my next games will be completely beta-tested and proofread.

And the deluxe version... http://americangirlscouts.org/bbc.com/yabb/index.php?topic=23427.msg357441#msg357441 Guess you have missed this.

Actually I think such a Photograph Thread would be useful, so we wouldn't have to post the pictures of our cats or guitars to the Long Overdue Photos thread.

Thanks :)
Spoiler
I thought the hanged campers at the end of the game would cause problems if I didn't put that rating

General Discussion / Re: Happy Halloween AGS
Sat 30/09/2006 08:09:50
I have downloaded and tested; I can guarantee it is not virus (well; my AVG AntiVirus says it is safe and nothing bad happened. But the most important; I trust Candle).

Actually I couldn't see any visual, it is just a black screen (guess something about my computer). But there are Halloweenish sounds like wind, owls etc.

Edit:
Oh, forgot to say...
Happy Halloween, AGS people :)

Guess you need the delete the acsetup.cfg file that was already installed.
Then try to install the patch again.

I hope it works.

It looks great! Thank you much, Joseph DiPerla :)
