That's kind of insulting. I'm 13, and I've never talked like that (except to mock people who do), and I use AOL Explorer.
But I know lots of 15 and 16 year olds who do.
Anyway, should be just as funny, I guess, but it's called "733t speak" or something like that, not... "12-year-old-AOLer" language.
EDIT: xD I take back everything I said about that translator. That's hilarious! xD
Try translating Albert Einstein quotes: http://rescomp.stanford.edu/~cheshire/EinsteinQuotes.html

If anybody is really THAT desperate, I can do the stuff as shown under my avatar.
Remember that I said I CAN do it, but I didn't say I would be good at it.
For example, I only know two languages:
English, and pig latin.
And I'm HORRIBLE at pig latin.
I suggest you try to find somebody else before you message me.

Why is his arm all pointy on the bottom?

I saw this thing on TV the other night, stupid things that people buy on Ebay... some people were buying tons of really stupid stuff for lots of money...
But how come I sell something worth it and nobody bids?!!
Oh well. I will try, as soon as I'm done, see how this goes.

"10. Do you feel that there is a difference between the types of games created by males and females?
In my opinion and experiences, games made by females are usually more carefully designed and created than the ones from males for some reason."

You obviously have never heard of my game, then. xD

QuoteIt's satisfying, but not nearly as much as when you've got an icon on your desktop that enables the roughly 30-degree arrow of the cursor to fit snugly against two of its lines.  That is ultimate satisfaction.  Of course, being a mature adult and delighting in more developed pursuits, I prefer to use the hand cursor to pick the noses of the AGS banner egos.
I do that all the time!
Errr... that is, put the cursor on an icon.
#107
Yep.
I move my cursor to the top corner of the screen, then across to the other corner, then I go up the top left corner, and across to the bottom right corner-then I do it over and over again, making an X, to see how many times I can do it before my cursor gets all disoriented.
It's kinda weird.
#108
Ok, it was on, but no, it's just MUSIC2.ogg.
#109
Pirates... that sounds familiar.
Hmmm, I think I'm remembering now!
Is this Pirates the same Pirates that I used to play a demo of a few years ago?
I don't remembering swordfighting in it, though...
Hmm, now I want to play that game! I forget where that demo is!
Does it have a parrot at the beginning, and you sail around the carribean and your ship gets blown up alot? That Pirates?

HAVING FUN?!!
I'm in the wrong forum completely! I have to go find the "work-a-holics" forum.
#111
I really like it, the art and colors, especially.
Green looks OK... but orange, I think, is better, I don't know why, but it reminds me of a tropical island at sunset.
#112
I've just never heard of such a thing, heh.
Do you mean "Windows Task Manager"/what you get when you push ctrl + alt + del?
#113
How do I get to my file manager?
#114
No, it doesn't work for ANY of the soundfiles (that is, the .OGG file either)
#115
*points to Ebay* Thatta way. Heh
If you want any high quality $3 catz, just ask me. xD

Also... ^
Edited my last post.

Well, there's a game, Catz, where you have these virtual cats, and you raise them and breed them and stuff, pretty popular game. They have virtual genetics, so almost no two catz are alike, and it's a big job breeding them and stuff.
There was a website called "Petz Auctions" where you auctioned them off for fake money so that you can buy more catz. This website closed down, so I wanted to see if I could sell them on Ebay, because I had really popular catz that everyone wanted.
They were only 3 bucks including shipping and handling for a whole pack of them. That's a VERY good deal, in my opinion, compared to other games where people sell stuff from the game for a ton of money (I was reading about website that were doing that).
So one of the people from a website that gave out free catz emailed me after seeing it on there and said something like "I can't imagine what sick and twisted mind would think up something like this. And don't bother adopting any more catz from me anymore, either." o_0 It was so odd. This lecture went on and on. In the end, I just gave them the catz, and said "take them" (in a nice way) since they weren't being sold and obviously they cared a lot for those catz... 0_o
They never even replied after that.
Then lots of other people started calling it a rip-off, which is understandable, but "sick and twisted"?
It was VERY, VERY odd. Me and my brother laughed and laughed after reading that email. It just went on and on, calling us "sick and twisted" and stuff.
Just some nut on the internet, I guess.

But anyway, I guess it wouldn't hurt much to try. If I get more hatemail, it should be highly amusing anyhow.
The question is: How much would you pay for my game (from what you've heard about it) and how much would you think it's a rip-off?
(It's about a girl and her ex-boyfriend switching bodies and the rest of the game is about completely destroying his life. My artwork is mostly made on Paint, it's in the Critic's Lounge if you want to see it)
$5? $10? $20?
And... how do you burn a game onto a CD?
And how could I make lots and lots of them and sell them like hotcakes? xD
And... how do I make them look professional?
Any ideas?
(Lots of questions, I know)

Oh! Duh!

Apparently, looking at the folder, I already tried that, but gave up and forgot about it because it wasn't playing .wav files.

EDIT: It STILL doesn't work! xD What are the chances of that?
#118
That's because that people who make great games are too busy making them to be lazy and chat, heh.
Speaking of which, I really ought to stop chatting and get to work on my game if I ever want to finish it... heh
#119
I read the manual, and it says you only need to do that for .wav files, and yes, I did, with the .wav files.

I have the latest version of AGS, and I didn't get any "Music" subfolder, so I made a folder named "Music" in the AGS folder, and put it in there.
I tried both folders, though.
#120
Okay, I tried to use a .OGG file as music, and it doesn't work. It just doesn't play.
Nor does a .mp3 or .wav file.
.Wav files are only working as sound.

So what do I do?
I chose "play music" action on both "player enters screen (before fadein)" and "(after fadein)".
