Just had a little play.  Really enjoyed it, I just love the style of it all.  Couldn't really seem to do any special moves except the double jump, probably just my crappy laptop keyboard though.

So much fun.  Please continue on, I'm a bit of a sucker for Aang.

I was thinking the other day does the word "Hyperbole" relate to understatements as well as exagerations?

For example "I couldn't believe the size of that pizza,  I could barely see it."

I searched but couldn't find anything really definative.

Meh that's nothing to worry about.

What I suggest is using one of the RON characters and painting over it to make it more like what you want your character to be.  That way you don't have to worry about how good your abilities are but you still get to make it your own.

I'm sure no one will mind.

Just finished.  What a wild ride of adventure game references,  odd object combinations,  brain twisting puzzles and my personal favorite the comrodery between two pals  (awwww) :'(.  I laughed, I cryed then realising crying wasn't appropriate I laughed again.

Thanks for a great game Ben an Dan.  Worth every penny.

Wow good work float on.  Makes me feel like I should get a move on with my game.   :P  Looking forward to it.

Ah nuts I was thinking of doing another one.  Seems like theres still a lot of room for black or asian kids.  A slightly smaller version of Yao Ming would be wicked.   :o

Ta Duh.  Thats another to the list of characters.  It only occured to me now how much he looks like Vincent of the shortfilm by Tim Burton.

Cecil Samon perpectual worrier of the group gets scaried quite a lot.  He's easily bullied into doing things that he would never do otherwise such as stealing Mr Peabody's cistard square he was saving for an after paperwork treat, being more afraid of his fellow campers than even the authoritys placed over him.
Originally his father sent him to Camp Copycat to bolster his confidence and build him some character but so far it has done little to stop his pandering to older, bigger children.
Cecil is generally well liked by the group being quiet and willing to go along with almost anything anyone says.  He is quite generous always sharing out the biscuits his mother sends him every week, although he would most probably be spending the night up the flagpole if he didn't.

Ok Ive done some walkcycles for Bill Cosby. (Incedently now Ive played some RON I wish I had chosen a more usefull character.)

Anyway heres a teaser

Ive done up and down as well.  What would be the best format to save it as?  Does it need to be indexed or left RGB?  Would it be best to save each image individually or in one big file?

Sorry about all the questions I have noticed that my way isnt always the way people more familiar with AGS do things thou.

Oh and the sideways animation needed another colour to look right.

Sounds like it should be an interesting story plus I'm really lovin your graphics style, simple and effective.   I'm looking forward to see it when its all completed.

Any idea on a release date of when you will have it done?

Ok well I'm calling Bill Cosby then.  I do have a question regarding him.  I havent played much RON unfortunatly.  Is he dead?  Should he walk normally or Zombiefied?

Wow sounds interesting .  Plus I'm good at breaking things so its win - win.

I wouldnt mind having a wee crack at making some animations.  What I was wondering thou, is there any particular conventions that should be followed?  For example is there a certain amount of frames that you would like to see in a walk cycle?  What about talking animations is it to be lip sync or general animation?

It may be a good idea to call which characters we are going to animate, so that there isnt to many people all making Davy Jones as the same time.

I think it would look wierd.  But then again its diffinatly worth a go.  Try makin a bg in 300 x 240 then double its size in gimp or photoshop then try a hi-rez sprite on top.

Though I do think that it would look better the other way around with higher rez bgs with lo-rez sprites on top.  For some reason I think "the Dig" might of done something like that.  Though I'm almost certainly wrong. ???

Its interesting reading the different ways that people get the ideas for their games.  And I do agree that showers do seem to produce some good concepts.  But to be honest I think everytime I personally have come up with an idea for a game its been from drawing.

Ill doodle for hours with no particular goal in mind then all of a sudden inspiration will hit me and Ive got an idea which can with a bit of persistance be turned into a game.  :=

Seems to work for me.

Well...

I was thinking. Here in AGS, for example, or all over the place, actually, you get plenty of uk based, USA based, Australia and New Zeland, most of Europe really, Germany, Italy, Russia, Poland, Romania, French, Dannish, Finnish, etc!

Wow theres people from New Zealand on AGS other than myself.  Go figure.

I like it.  The lighting suits your particular style.  The only thing that bothers me is that the cars are too close to the pavement.  Maybe its just me but it kinda looks like their actually parked on the pavement rather than next to it.

This game is freaking cool.  I loved 1213 but this games much nicer.  OK its a bit buggy with the sprites overlapping but the gameplay is wicked, reminds me of that splinter cell game they made for cellphones.

I cant wait to find out all the secrets.  My brain is swollen with excitement.

Phew OK I calmed down a bit.  Yeah cool game lots of style.
