What, only 400 megs?

It's on one of those little PC cards (PCMCIA card, ROM card, whatever you want to call it). The card holds 8 megs of samples and costs like $200. The samples are high quality and very usable, but it's still not a very good deal. The interesting thing is that the blank PC cards cost just as much as these ones.

Anyways, I own the Classical QCard and the Vintage Synthesizers QCard. They all plug into my Alesis QS6. I'm thinking of taking all the samples on the cards and on the synth and turning them (or most of them) into a SoundFont for distribution.

I recognize Ghormak's samples for his entry. They're straight off of the Alesis Classical QCard.

You can actully get hints that the blanket has black on the other side. (so it's easy to read off of)

I think it's in the "Apprentice" thread in the Released Games Announcement section of this forum.

Anyways, Necro also contacted us by email.

Good job everyone!

You, my friend, are in very big trouble.

Just kidding. Congrats.

Let's see... Today's the contest's end, and we have three entries.

Should I announce a winner now, or is there anyone else that has a song to enter?

Yeah, there's a thread about it in the Herculean Effort Productions forum. You might want to check it out.

Actully, if you're interested in real-time font ouliners, I just finished the beta version of a font outliner as a function.

You can check it out at http://herculeaneffort.myikonboard.com/viewthread.php?postid=50

Have fun!

Here's a link directly to the thread, for your convenience.

Ok.

I listened to a bit of it. Liked that slap bass!
#1795
I haven't heard it yet, but is that the song you're entering in the contest, trap?
#1796
Okay, this week's contest rules:

Reinterpretation of the LeChuck theme.

Examples may include a lounge style, or heavy-metal cover, etc.

Good luck!

Sounds kinda like Apprentice...
#1798
Gotcha. I have some good ideas for the rules (don't worry, they'll be good and fun). I'll start the new contest thread shortly.

If you'd like to get some useful functions, you can go to the Herculean Effort Productions forum at http://herculeaneffort.myikonboard.com, in the 'General Discussion' section, under the 'Functions for your consumption' thread.

I update it about once a week, posting new, cool functions that make your AGS scripting easier.

Woohoo!

So looks like I get to start the next contest. How does that work, are there already set dates for it?
