I think you're right. Years back Police Quest changed into weird pseudo SWAT simulation and what Walls seems to be doing with Preceint is another realistic cop simulator. I don't dig it at all. I would love another Police Quest with a captivating criminal story, good writing, with plot twists, interrogations, maybe with some forensic CSI-like puzzles, classic 3rd person point & click. I don't want a game where I have to fill out various reports all the time, follow realistic police procedures and see a game over screen when I wear police uniform in an incorrect order. C'mon.

The Mosquito Coast?

Hey, guys, have you heard about this indie project? It's being developed by two people, a couple actually, and it's looking fantastic. I just love the art style and the spooky atmosphere. Check it out.

Good news is their funding campaign is already successfull.

In the promo video you can see snippets of the engine they're using. Anybody recognise it?

Is this point & click adventure game?

Basically, on Phatt Island you have to challenge a fisherman to get his fishing pole in order to complete the "Elaine's map piece puzzle"
Favourite Guybrush's one-liner against him: "You? Why, you couldn't catch fish at a restaurant."

No no, I know there is a pole puzzle in MI2, I finished this game 30-40 times by now, I just don't know WHY this puzzle is omitted in FM Towns version of the game.

Well, I never played a browser game, so I'm clueless. Anybody?

HINT: This game received Game of the Year Award in 1994 in a Polish computer magazine - Top Secret.

Between levels there was a bonus stage where you had to run over bad guys with a car. There were also ordinary people which you had to avoid but the car was running so fast that you eneded up hitting elderly people, mothers with babies etc. It was one sick game but I remember we had a blast playing it.

Yep, it is a very brutal game. A scrolling beat 'em up.

Here's next one. It was a cult classic among my friends when I was a kid.
