Is it Pikmin 3 for wii u?... (not my sort of game or console but I seem to recognize the aesthetic).

I think it's a terrible idea...

Just kidding;) For me, the more the better!:P

Nice of you to make the trip! Just a couple of weeks to go. Where has the time gone :)

Better hit the gym and get ready for it!;)

From the trailer it looks like you've really taken a lot from Another World! (the shooting seems identical)

But since it's one of my all time favourite games, I guess it's a good thing;)

Is there a PC port?

I can count more than 100 people I've met in here that could make this game faster and with much less money, and better. They don't even have a working prototype of nothing, they're in it for the money.
I think it's a bit of a hyperbole to say they're in it just for the money. It does make me sad that 1000% better looking adventure games like To Azmuth aren't getting funded as quickly though.

Thanks for putting To Azimuth on my radar. I just love the look of that game! Sadly, I don't think it will get funded...

Completed Game Announcements / Re: GO NORTH

I was so excited to see another game by Dualnames (it's like watching a new film by Quentin Tarantino to me) - and then I read it was made in an hour... :(

I haven't played it yet. I will soon. It might be the best hour game ever made. But my point is: I hope you're out there, working on a game that takes a thousand hours to make, and me many others are eagerly awaiting it. No matter how good this is, it will probably be over in 2 minutes, and then I'll feel really, really angry.

You could always take another screenshot of that sprite zoomed to 200% , then switch to it and zoom again... But to be honest, looking at that video, it's actually pretty great already;) I'd go with that.

My 4-year old would be scarred for life if I'd let him play my games...

He thinks The Cat Lady is the same thing as Cat Woman :P

AGS Games in Production / DOWNFALL (2015)

DOWNFALL

There is nothing Joe wouldn't do for his wife.

But as they try to save their marriage with a romantic getaway, things go from bad to worse, and from worse... to insanity.

In this tale of love, madness and murder  Joe will prove what kind of man he is.

But what kind of man is he exactly? A loving husband? A cold realist? A bitter skeptic? An asshole?

That is something YOU will decide, as you join him on his journey for redemption.

"It's a remake of my first commercial game from 2009 made in a style of The Cat Lady. I've kept the core concept of the original and turned it into a very different beast. The game's hotel Quiet Haven has remained mostly unchanged in its layout and some backgrounds are reminiscent of the old Downfall's, but some also have been completely changed to fit the new style of the game.

I'm also working closely with AGS forum member Yeppoh who's in charge of character art and animation. He is AMAZING and I love what he's produced so far!

TEAM:

WRITING, CODING, BACKGROUND & ADDITIONAL ART: GRIM
ANIMATION: YEPPOH
MUSIC: MICAMIC (+guests)
HOTEL PAINTINGS ART: DYSPHORIA WEAVER
PRODUCTION/PUBLISHING: MODS/SCREEN7

And I will add out voice acting stars as we go. So far we've got:
JOE DAVIS: JESSE GUNN
IVY DAVIS : ISA AND

Got my tickets to London already. And managed to only pay £16 for a return trip! ---> if anyone's coming from within UK check out Megabus. Their prices are insanely great!;)

My little boy Gabriel is already obsessed with games, and yes, it's my fault - for being obsessed with games myself...;)

He's 4 and a half and he has already completed Journey on PS3, mastered Super Mario on Nintendo DS, cracked Lego Batman, can go for a ride in Watch_Dogs on PS4 (I let him drive under my supervision as long as he promises not to run civilians down). We also played Mirror's Edge together and both since became fans of James Kingston and various parkour experts, Far Cry 3 (but instead of shooting we just rode jeeps and jet skis in non-aggressive way, not using the guns) and Minecraft... but for obvious reason I try to avoid violent games, even though I personally like those the most (I can only play them at night these days). He even likes to listen to me telling him about games I used to play as a kid!;) And despite being exposed this way to games he has never really shown any sings of aggression or behaved badly at school. He's a really good boy actually, sensitive for needs of others and very caring, loves reading and playing with real toys, and I'm hoping that when he grows up we can still share this passion for video games. It would be awesome if he does!;)

Quote from: GrimSeriously, if you have PS4, do not play it when you're home alone. Or at least do not turn off the lights.
Come on! It's all the fun! Alone in a dark room, and with headphones on. Outlast was not scary to me at all. Over the years I got immune to cheap jump scares. Fingers crossed this new Silent Hills game will be different.

You must be braver than me then, because I just couldn't finish it (though I will play the Silent Hills when it's done, I'm sure of that).

Just off to the shop to buy either Alien Isolation or The Evil Within... I don't expect to be too scared by either of those but I do expect them to be good games.

May I just add that P.T. was the only game I had to turn off after just 20 minutes because it was TOO FRICKING TERRIFYING!?!

Seriously, if you have PS4, do not play it when you're home alone. Or at least do not turn off the lights.

Mine too. Can't wait for Bloodborne now.

YepðŸ˜Æ' February will be a great month for gaming indeed. I'm officially avoiding all info about Bloodborne so I can discover it all on my own this time.

If it's newer than Skyrim, it must be The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter then?

It's gonna be keyboard.

Sorry... ;)

And yes, the voices, the room 666, the cat - they're all in there. You're gonna love, Herve;)
