I switched to vaporizers just before Christmas and haven't had any cigarettes since. I'm really, really happy about that:)

Unlike you Miguel, I actually like "vaping", it's not just the nicotine hit. I'm on the low nicotine level liquids now and I can vape anywhere guilt-free. Like you, I pop out to the loo at work every now and then to take a puff or two;) Or during my lunch break I go out and sit in the garden, read a book and vape.

Sure, might not be exactly "healthy", but no one will argue that it's not a LOT better than smoking. It is. I don't stink, I don't poison my kid (and I don't have to tell him to go away because "dad is smoking", God, I hated myself for that), and I don't cough or feel headache-y after having too many sometimes. Now I can enjoy my coffee and vape in the comfort of my home, instead of standing in the wind and rain outside in the garden.

It bothers me a bit that there is still that stigma attached to it- people don't tolerate very well the sight of a cloud of vapor coming out of somebody's mouth... But maybe one day that will change, when everyone realizes there is no such thing as secondary smoke with e-cigs and vaporizers?

It seems I've found the right person. AGS forums are full of talented people:)

janosbiro: this game is a tribute to all the cat ladies out there. I too love cats. And ladies. And if I put them through some tough time it's only to show how strong they really are.

I used to watch it too.

Here's the thing- I'd like to make a remake of my first commercial game, Downfall.

But I'm making another game at the same time and frankly, it's a lot of work to do it all on my own.

I would like to employ services of an animator to make all character sprites for the game, money involved. How much and on what conditions, I'm open to discuss it in private once/if the right person comes forward. Style? - something similar to The Cat Lady, but not necessarily. I'm open to different (but realistic) styles. Sprites would have to be quite large (200:400)as it would be what we here on the forums consider high-res ;) (800:600) All characters would also be black&white only.

Bear in mind this would be an awesome fully voiced Steam/GOG/whatever production that a lot of people are waiting for!:)

I've had some people contact me from outside the forums but to be honest I haven't really seen anything that would impress me yet.

It would be great to work on this with one of AGSers tbh. I hope the right person is out there, waiting, so... please PM!!!;)

Earlier today I bumped into a YouTube video of Tony Hawk apologizing for this "hover board prank".

Mystery solved;)

Is that what full version of Unity costs- $1579? Well, I guess I'd go about developing the game with free version and once I saw it is actually working out, or nearly finished, it would be an investment that's most likely worth the price.

What I do like about AGS is that at the stage where I'm at now I feel totally comfortable with ALL its features, which speeds everything up a lot. To learn Unity now would be a pain in the ass, but obviously there is a long list of reasons to do that- portability, resolutions, performance etc. I really like that Iceman actually does so much work to create an ultimate adventure game maker and I am a great believer that sooner or later it will reach that stage where you can safely dive into it. And yes, Iceman, you're right that the only way to get there is to have this constant feedback from users. But at the same time, Unity forums will probably provide much better feedback since most people there are already familiar with how Unity works.

Having met the man himself at AdventureX I can tell he is very passionate about this and knows what he's doing.

This is VERY impressive, but I still feel like I kinda wanna wait until it's finished before I start making a game with it, just in case.

I'm making an AGS game at the moment but my next game is definitely gonna be done with Adventure Creator & Unity.

Question: can you pan in and out on a 2D scene with 2D characters?

Maybe it's that Freddie Pharkas game? The one about a pharmacist in wild west?

A boy killed by rolling cans of Coke in a futuristic castle? No, doesn't ring any bells.

The Cat Lady has about 175 rooms. Some are close-ups and stuff, so it's not all walkable rooms;)

It might be intro from Teen Agent.

Oh... I played Teenagent! I remember when the game was made, I even wrote to Metropolis (the developer) to offer some of my sprites for their future productions (as you do when you're 13 and full of hope).

I attached a floppy disk with the letter, and even got a reply from Adrian Chmielarz!

Therefore, shame on me, for not recognizing Teenagent... It was a really shitty game, though;)

You're a great man, Crimson Wizard.

I've been using the latest version for a while now and it's brilliant. You've done such a good job on that, man. Well done. I owe you one.
