Yay!!!:)

I'll post a new game on Sunday night, if you don't mind waiting. (at work, can't copy/edit screenshots)

I was under the impression the donation was for a plane ticket, so his biggest fan could attend the funeral. It might have turned into something else later, though... I don't know.

I know this one!!!:)

It's Lure Of The Temptress!:)

(I had the pleasure recently of meeting Charles Cecil, the head of Revolution Software, and personally thanked him for that strange yet fascinating game, one of the favourite games of my childhood)

I've been cheeky and downloaded Chris' module;) It's absolutely fantastic! It does exactly what I wanted to do in a room with wet floor.

One problem though- it cuts 10 fps (again, Dualnames' noise module did the same recently... I'm sensing a worrying pattern here). So I'm down to 30-31 fps. Is it an issue with my game (800:600 resolution, large sprites within a room, AGS 3.3.0)? Is there any way to reduce the slowdown? And mostly, would it matter to an average player if in a room or two framerate dropped from 40 to 30? What are the standards for these kinds of things?

I looked him up and it's hard not to feel sorry for him... but mostly for his wife who "talked to him through the door while he shot himself dead in the bathroom"... Can you even imagine that?

It's also nice to see the support of YouTube community. Yes, it's too late and they can't bring him back, but the number of tributes is astonishing and it shows people do care.

Obnoxious is the exact word for it, I agree with Armageddon. It's all great with being a badass in a game, but not really the Borderlands kind of badass. They just seemed unnecessarily rude and half-brained.

I played both Borderlands games and didn't like them much. Didn't finish either of them.

I do love Telltale, though, so there is a chance it might be good this time.

Dafuq did I just play? Pass the doobie to the left hand side, Grim.

Is it that obvious?...;) haha ;) I meant well!;)

After my and James' recent talk about pros and cons of Dakota, Dualnames kindly let me have Dakota's build so I could play with  it, as an experiment of sorts, and I figured I'd turn it into a different- yet very Dual-like, game. It's short and creepy, and I tried to stick only to the assets that were already there (which wasn't entirely possible and I ended up rebuilding each room... but I tried;) )

The author of the game gave me the permission to post it on the forum, so here goes: DAKOTA REVISITED.

Very frightening and disturbing. Nice music. But what's up with the framerate in that video? Try different software next time (I use Growler GunCam, it's free I think) and maybe experiment with the editing. Windows Movie Maker isn't as bad as you'd think;) -I know this isn't a forum for critique and all that, but I think how you sell your idea really matters and can leave a lasting impression if you put your whole heart into it.

That screenshot looks trippy as hell and I love it:)

I'm sure it can't be that hard to come up with a puzzle involving a blue devil bartender, a guy with an eyeball for a head and an angry chimp with a lizard's tail!;) The possibilities are endless!;)

Yes, the noloopcheck works. Unfortunately, the noise filter, as amazing as it looks (especially in a higher res game) seems to cut fps down from 40 to 28... Is there any way to make it lighter on the system?

I've had a very good experience with mOds and screen7. Your game couldn't be in better hands!:)

I'm waiting for the complete game. I hate this episodic bullshit... But having said that- pretty excited about it. I've always been a LucasArts, not Sierra, fan!;)

Nope. Here's the error:

I have to say this "for your consideration" thread is a great way to catch up on what you've missed during the year. I've played three games from that list already and loving it;)

Can't way to start nominating! (by then I'll probably try most of the contenders)

I didn't even realize you could use keyboard for the arcade section!- used mouse from the start and couldn't do it, even on an easy mode. I think after 3 times it should go into easy mode, and after 5 ask player if they want to skip it. That way everyone's happy;) It's hard to judge difficulty of these things and it's clear on this forum people have struggled;)
