You can press f9 to skip the credits. It restarts the game, but that's what happens when they finish anyway.

Maybe I was a bit too passionate in the discussion, but I don't really think it should never EVER be done. The thing is, there are tropes, and it's very easy to be lazy and rely on those dated tropes. Trying something new and refreshing is more than welcome, I just have yet to see it.

General Discussion / Re: Journal versus Diary
Tue 19/04/2016 15:51:09
Well, if we want to get linguistic, Wikipedia tells us that "The word diary comes from the Latin diarium ("daily allowance," from dies "day"). The word journal comes from the same root (diurnus "of the day") through Old French jurnal (modern French for day is jour)"

So basically they both mean a book in which to keep daily notes! Personally, I always thought of a "diary" as being something kids keep to write their private thoughts, whereas a journal is more of a "serious" thing. This is totally due to cultural depiction, however.

I'm a bit up in the air right now, not sure if I'll be able to afford it currently. But if I can come, I will!

This has been raised as a very valid issue, and will be patched so you aren't required to get the drawing right to input the code.

Wadjet Eye Games Presents:

The world ended on the day the bombs fell.

Since then, it's always been like this. Disease, hunger, death. The ruling Aristocrats have unchallenged authority – a faceless oligarchy that controls all resources, and there's never enough food, water or vaccine for everyone. The poor live in fear, superstition and squalor. The rich receive regular doses of vaccinations in exchange for unconditional government support.

Amy has never known a life beyond this, and has had to resort to working for Tiberius, the ruthless head of the Ministry of Energy, in order to qualify for the vaccine lottery.  However, she will soon learn that the government is keeping a terrible secret.  With the help of a mysterious figure, Amy will work to unite the oppressed, bring down Tiberius, and find a cure for the plague.

Why is the bottom right teat blood? :(

Played and finished this over the weekend, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it. A fun little game with charm that evokes the spirit of King's Quest without all the annoying deaths or talking owls :D

Looking forward to Episode 2!

PS - I've had the amazing intro theme stuck in my head for days, damn you!

Haha thank you! How did you find that photo of me in my natural habitat?!

I would not be able to make it to Australia this year.

If this is the case with the majority of attendees, might I suggest somewhere in the Caribbean as an alternative? It's been something that's been discussed several times before, serves as a nice "halfway point" between the US and Europe, and can be done in the summer. Only issue is it's right in the middle of hurricane season. Just a thought!
