Hooray!  Congratulations to everyone, and I have to say I was very impressed with this batch of games, not just because of their quality, but also because of the sheer number of participants. 

Let's imagine a fictional game creator, which we'll call Ponchislav...

I'm confused...does this mean Ponch and I had a lovechild when I wasn't looking?  And they're making episodic games?!

That's odd.  It's supposed to turn off the walkable area when the dance sequence is activated.  I'll look into it.

Just zipped & shipped my game off to cat! 

Happy to report that my game is almost done!

Today was spent doing animations and music, as well as adding sound effects.  The game has been fully playable since Wednesday, and all that's left to do are 2 animations.  I intend to spend all of tomorrow working on them, hopefully being done by Saturday night or Sunday afternoon at the extreme latest.

Looking forward to playing every else's entries, as well as unleashing mine on you all!

In somewhat over 48 hours I have managed to draw my background and characters and complete walk cycles for the PC.  The story and puzzles are all written out but not yet implemented.

Today I will code in the GUI and inventory items with the goal of having the game fully completable by tonight.  Tomorrow I will record some music and spend the bulk of Friday and Saturday doing animations and tweaks.

I'm excited for the final results!

I'm in.  I was starting work on a small game anyway, and didn't have a real story or anything yet, so some guidelines will help out tremendously!

So yesterday, Matt, Azure, ddq and I held a game jam.  We split into teams of two and used the Random Video Game Name Generator to pick a name, which we then had to make a game about.  Ddq and I were on a team, and we got "Monty Python's Makeout Mansion."  So here it is in all its glory.
