Ha ha no, no real estate sims or micromanaging or in-game economy or anything like that, just a standard point and click adventure.  This game is about real estate in the same way Resonance was about particle physics.

Crimson Wizard: Yep, the fully rotoscoped Charleston will be in the game, you can bet on it.

Andail: I am very much looking forward to not dealing with paranormal investigating, believe me. :P

Thanks for the feedback!  I'm really excited about this game, and my main concern was that the premise might be a little too "niche," but I'm glad to see there's interest.

Andail: I've gotten a bit of help with programming and naturally will have a musician, but it's just been me so far. Part of the reason I currently have no idea when this will be finished.

Grundislav Games presents:

The Story:
The Roaring Twenties. The Jazz Age. Prohibition.  For Alfie Banks, a young real estate salesman from New York recently relocated to Miami, it is a time of great opportunity.

Based on actual events and featuring real life locations and historical figures, you must guide Alfie on his journey to reach the top of the real estate game as he deals with shady salesmen, cutthroat bootleggers, corrupt politicians, and much more, all while swept up in the events surrounding the inception of Coral Gables, The City Beautiful.

What a preposterous and silly thing to suggest!  As if 304 and I would do something silly and preposterous!  Why, the very idea!

Hey Australian AGSers!

Some of you already know, but for those who don't, and if you live in the areas of Perth, Sydney, or Brisbane, there is going to be an extremely mini-meetup in April of this year, which has been given the title Bogans 2013.  Ben304 and I will be traversing a week in the wild western wilderness and then meeting up with Layabout for a week in Sydney, followed by a final week in Brisbane.  So, if you are around, and want to say hello or join us for a beer or something, please get in touch!

I'm in for any date.  I'll be unemployed so no pressure to get home for me, although earlier than late August would be preferable.

Would that be, "¿Dónde está Morales?"

This game has ninjas, four playable characters, and crazy mushroom-enhanced visions, and you call it worst game of 2013?

You'll have to do much, much worse than that!

Yeah, I've had a Wacom Graphire CTE-440 for about 5 years now and it's served me pretty well.  It was cheap, too.

So much amazing competition, but I still have to be a pimp, so please consider:

Things are not looking good for Ben Jordan. His best friend is dead, his girlfriend is missing, and his last ally has betrayed him. However, as bleak as things look, all is not lost. In this, the surprising final chapter of the series, Ben will learn the truths hidden in the past and the present, which he will use to finally confront the madman threatening his future.

Features:
- Fully voiced and lip-synced!
- Play as Ben Jordan and his grandfather, Arthur Jordan!
- The longest (and the last) Ben Jordan game ever!
- Game soundtrack and extras included in the download (to consider it a nominee for best music)

Download it here

Are you sad because it's almost 2013 and you haven't gotten your BlueCup Tools Podcast fix in months?

Well fear not!

Ok, so there's no new episode, but something is better than nothing, right?

Here, we present a snippet of a conversation that was specially recorded and never found a place in a podcast because we never got around to recording one afterwards.  Think of it as a 15 minute special.

Check out all those classic adventures.  Jealous?

Ben and I are each very silly, and when we get together we are even more silly (fans of our podcast know this.)  Our particular brand of humor isn't going to be for everyone, and it would be equally silly to assume everyone will find it amusing.  For those who liked the game, we're glad you did.  For those who didn't, we're sorry.  Hopefully future projects will be more to your liking.

General Discussion / Re: Hurricane Sandy

And luckily Wilma was in October so it wasn't hot outside with no power.

I was without power for two weeks during Hurricane Andrew back in 1992, which pretty much decimated Miami (where I live,) so I also know what it feels like.  But yes, things go back to normal, and the best thing about it (if there can be a "best" thing) is how the community bands together to help each other out.  I've already seen people helping others charge their phones for free and giving out free pizza.  Thankfully there doesn't seem to be any looting going on in New York.  Unfortunately these situations can also bring out the worst in people.

I will be there to play Meyer!

Also, woods or city is fine.  We had urban sprawl this year, a rural cabin would be a nice change of pace.
