Can you describe exactly what it is you did to lead up to that?  I've tried recreating the errors and I don't get any in the old lady's room.

With regards to the endings:

Each scenario has a factor that affects the way the game ends.  As far as which one is "best," that's really up to you.

If you notice there's no way to earn the maximum possible amount of money AND have a good date with Jennifer, the younger girl.  So you have to decide which you think is more important, money or love?

More than anything the reward is discovering the different possible outcomes.  The date can have 3 results: good, bad, or mediocre.  The older lady scenario can end with her living or dying, and the man can end with the wife discovering you or not.  Those factors have an impact on the game ending.

Miami is a rough town.  Crime, drugs, humidity...but for an enterprising male prostitute, all that matters is satisfying the clients and getting paid.  The life isn't as glamorous as it seems, though, as you'll soon find out by guiding our man through one crazy night.

The idea for Back Door Man stems from one I had for a three-game series featuring three separate characters whose stories interconnect, one game being about this character. This is a condensed version of that game.

This was made for the TIGSource Adult/Education Compo, where you could either make a game with an adult theme, an educational theme, or a mix of the two.

We didn't write a script per se, but we did write a story outline:

Basically, Señor Roberto (brother of Bob from the Ben Jordan movie) calls together all these criminal characters to his house.  There would have been a scene around the table where all the characters talked and it was revealed that every single one of them had some sort of motive to kill one another.  First, Foreign Tom was to be found dead by the pool, prompting Detective Pete to show up and summon Wembley.  As the movie went on, the rest of the characters would die one by one as Pete and Wembley tried to figure out what was going on.  In the end, it would be revealed that Detective Pete actually orchestrated the whole thing, in order to steal a precious item from Señor Roberto's safe.  In a double twist ending, it would be revealed that Wembley was actually the true mastermind behind it all, since he knew Pete was planning this, and so his intent was to take the item for himself.

Hooray, here is our Mittens movie.  At least, what we managed to film.

I have to disagree with the "Mittens attendees make better organizers/hosts" argument.

The only real requirement to being the organizer, as said before, is finding a location.  Once everyone arrives, the host doesn't HAVE to know where to go or what to do, it's not a requirement to have fun.  Sure, it might increase the possibilities if a local knows where to go and what to do, but Mittens France was mainly organized by AGA, and even though we didn't really speak French or know where anything was, we still had fun and found our way around.  Exploration is what adventuring is all about, right?

So yeah, regardless of where we have it or who organizes it, us AGSers always find something to do.

I can't deny that Holland would be an interesting time...

...but Italy has been on the top of my travel list for quite some time, so given the choice I would have to go with Italy as well.

Mittens 2009 came and went, and it was a success!

Thanks to everyone who came, drove, bared the heat, bared the rain, and generally made Mittens an amazing experience as always.

I didn't take any pictures, but I will try and get our incomplete movie edited together to make some form of sense as soon as I can.

Hope you all enjoyed yourselves, and that you all have safe trips home.  Looking forward to seeing your photos!
