Yay, it's nice to see everyone enjoyed it.  I had an amazingly good time making this game (as is apparent in the pictures and video of the voice acting session) and working with Erin was a real pleasure.  This was my first collaborative project with another AGSer, and I think it went extremely well!

Unfortunately, I didn't finish it.
I got stuck and couldn't figure out what I had to do.

Where did you get stuck?  Let us know so we can help you out.

Q: What was the name of the first released Zak McKracken fan sequel?

Eric's Answer: Zak McKracken and the duh duh dumb nobody played it because it was in German.

Is Part 8 DEFINATELY the last? Or could we possibly see a new Ben Jordan series AFTER the incidents of Parts 1-8?

Yes. Case 8 will be my last Ben Jordan game.

That was amazing!  It was a real pleasure to see all the seemingly random scenes come together to make a damn impressive movie.  Of course, M0ds is a pretty great director, so it's no wonder it came out as quality as it did.

I'm eagerly awaiting the gag reel, we have some pretty funny stuff on there.  :)

One minor gripe: You misspelled my last name in the opening credits!  :P

Oui oui, I have returned as well!  Unfortunately I've come home to find a bit of a family emergency, so I should have my pictures/vids up later this evening or tomorrow.

Thanks to every single one of you for making this another spectacular Mittens, and I hope to see you all here next year.

The menu screen is the Schongauer engraving of the Temptation of St. Anthony that Father McNamara mentions.

Hints & Tips / Re: Ben Jordan: Case 7

There are two clues given to solve this puzzle.  One is in the game, the other is in the Paranormal Investigator's Handbook included with the game.

If you want the solution outright:
Spoiler
Saint Anthony is the patron saint of lost items, therefore the four buttons pressed must be "lost" items.

The serpent, crown, angel, and church are generic items, so disregard those.

If you read the P.I. Handbook, it mentions text from the Dead Sea Scrolls, which means they obviously have been found, so eliminate that.  Also, it mentions the Philosopher's Stone was a metaphor and not an actual item, so eliminate that one too.

This leaves you with the Fountain of Youth, The "Lost" Ark of the Covenant, The "Lost Continent of Atlantis, and the "Lost" Galleon of the Salton Sea.  Press those in any order and the box opens.

The solution to this can be found at the police station.

Grundislav Games proudly presents:
Ben Jordan: Paranormal Investigator
in
Case 7 - The Cardinal Sins

The Story
It's Christmas Eve in Rome.  What should be a joyful occasion becomes a senseless tragedy as a priest is murdered in cold blood. Back home in Philadelphia, Ben Jordan receives a phone call from the man accused of the crime, begging him to go to Rome and clear his name.  Seeing this as a chance to prove his career choice to his disapproving family, Ben calls up his friends and starts another investigation.  However, Ben doesn't realize that this will be the toughest case he's ever had, as many questions will be answered, and some lives will be lost...

Relax guys, I'm happy to report that I got the last set of lines I needed to finish the game, so it will be available shortly.

There is a remote chance it may be pushed back a day, but I'm working my hardest to have it out on time.

How DARE you say such terrible things about America?! I'LL SUE YOU!!!

Seriously, though, I enjoyed the game.  The dialog was funny (if a bit long) and the puzzles were clever.  I liked the whole running gag about

The art style was nice too, and yes, the walk cycles were great.  Nice work!

Yeah, I was going to book under your name but did it under mine instead.  I still need your car's registration, though.  It can be given to them either by email or phone, don't know which you prefer.

Okay, so at Layabout's request I have booked the ferry crossing for the Laymobile (which is still go as he asked me to tell everyone).

It came out to £112 for the whole trip, which divided by 5 of us means each passenger owes me £22.

We depart from Dover at 12:20 GMT, arriving at Calais at 14:20 French Time on August 15, and return August 22 at 15:15 French Time, arriving back in Dover at 15:50 GMT.

Yarr!
