I hope they are not going in the direction of entirely getting rid of puzzles. Not for the sake of JP, but of future Telltale games.

Totally agree. If it turns out to be a game without puzzles, I'll have to think twice before buying it.

If I were to play a Jurassic Park game I would have it be more like JP: Tresspasser. Only working properly and looking good.

A new Trespasser-styled game is ok, but at this point I expect better from Telltale. Hopefully they will make a game close to the original story, and without directions that doesn't make sense comparing to the rest of the movies.

I'm fairly exited about what they can cook up, but we'll have to wait and see..

I first found this news at a norwegian internet page, that also included some quotes from mr. Boyle not found in the english internet. here they are quickly google translated:

- To make something that pays off both in the quieter character-building parts, as well as intense moments that you expect from "Jurassic Park", is a new direction for Telltale.

- Story and characters are a very important ingredient. You're going to feel the drama. You'll feel the excitement. You'll get different feelings. There is humor in the lighter moments - time to get to know and love the characters. And of course the spectacular island, and then break everything down to the moments of terror.

- Even though our game is more linear than "Heavy Rain ", the player's actions affect the way the story unfolds. The choices the player does affects the detail of the story so you will know that we are watching the choices all the time.

It seems like Game Informer have had a chat with the game's executive director Kevin Boyle. And he reveals that the game will be inspired by last years Heavy Rain.

Due to the great praise Heavy Rain received for the gameplay, it will be exiting to see how Telltale will develop the new game. I think the more open non-linear style would fit good together with adventure gameplay, at least for this title.

It alsy says the game will be a sequel to the first film, and the beginning "will take place during the film, but from a different viewpoint."

I'm saving for laser surgery. And I will NEVER play a game where I need to cross my eye.

Tonight I attended a party and one  of my lenses parted in two. The solution was taking both lenses out, with a funny effect.
Due to the focusing problem the effect of alcohol was multiplied. Six beers and I feel extremely drunk...

My eyes still hurt...

I see the firefly. But where is the story? And where is the 3D?

My eyes hurt...

Well, doesn't it go for the same with your avatar as well???  ::)

But seriuously, animals with hats are always cute...

Too much work is slowing my progress. If I manage to do something before the deadline, it will probably not be the game I'll brag about ever after... I'll see what I can cook up, but don't expect something.

Interesting theme. But typically it's the month where I'm overloaded with work...

But if I get the time I'll try to cook up something. Just picked up on some old loose threads in AGS, and I have to say it feels good working with game making again. It's been too long..

I had a kind of a crush when I played the german adventure game Jack Keane, and saw Amanda for the first time. (Inside a dressing room, not wearing much...)

And then there's always Mona Sax in Max Payne :-*

For some reason my favourite moment with Leslie goofing around is from Wrongfully Accused, where he is in a hospital trying to steal two large suction cups from some construction workers installing window panes.

Although considered one of his 'worst' spoof-movie, Wrongfully Accused is one of my favourites. The first time I saw it, I lost my breath when he appeared in the river together with the fishes. So extremely unexpected and stupid that it almost suffocated me...

Undoubtly the funniest actor ever to play in the parody genre. Even those dreadful family movies he starred in during the '90s rised to a higher level of entertainment whenever he entered the screen. I remember watching Safety Patrol, an extremely boring piece of junk. I only laughed twice, the two scenes with Leslie in it.

Rest in peace. Parody will never be the same again.

And surely I'm serious...

This way, the player could choose the task he wants to perform on the hotspots depending on what is available to him ( Interact hotspot, Look Hotspot, pick up hotspot,talk... ).

Something like the Verb Coin interface found in CoMI? That is implemented in AGS as a standard GUI, so you should be able to extend it to your needs.

It's Murray the Demonic Scull! Now upgraded with a prosthetic nose, feets with tennis socks and a mind-blowing new Wave(TM) headset with ultra bass and a radio transmitter at the top.

A random question for anyone from Norway... Do you live in Sadnes? I'm just trying to prove it's a small world...af...ter-all.

I'm from Norway, but I don't think there is a town here call Sadnes.. You might think of Sandnes?

Well, there goes the sad part...

Anywho... If you mean Sandnes, I live around 20 minutes from there...
