Looks great and I hope you'll make also a completely original Indy adventure after finishing Raiders, Jandemor.

I second this statement, but I'll be satisfied if this game ever sees the light. Let's not focus on the future possibilities before this game nears completion  ;)

AGS Games in Production / Re: Terminal
Sun 21/08/2011 21:16:01
I'm usually completely against the use of photographs as backgrounds in AGS games, but you've somehow managed to do so REALLY well. It totally creates a great atmosphere! This project sounds really exciting, and I'll be sure to follow the progress.

You guys never fail to amaze me  8)

That screenshot looks awesome!

So I'm confused. You're planning on doing the entire Raiders movie, right? So will you piece everything together into one game when you're done? Or is this going to be episodic?

Looks good. Just out of curiosity, why is this game subtitled The Idol Project?

I love it!  Glad my suggestions was taken to heart. :P

Just an observation-- on the walking sprite, the shade of his jacket seems to change for one frame.

Yeah, I also noticed that. Also, I'm not entirely sure, but to me, the head bobbing seems a little unrealistic. Kind of like it doesn't happen frequently enough.

Baptiste, it's nice to see that there's someone else here who's just as enthusiastic about this project as I am. Raiders was always my favorite movie, and I just know that it can work so well as a game. Would be great if they could get Doug Lee to voice Indy when it's done ;D. That would be a dream. Ah well...

So how long is the game going to be?  Roughly FOA length?

Is difficult to know the length of the entire game.

For example: one of the beta testers took about 25 minutes to pass the first part of the prologue. The puzzles are fairly simple at first, the difficulty increases as you progress in the adventure.  ;)

I like the sound of that. I'm more excited for this than any other Indy game being developed. It looks like things are progressing at a rapid pace. Is that correct?

I'm so looking forward to the car chase scene. I don't know how you guys are going to make it work, but I'm sure it will be great!

Is anyone working on a website for this game?

Great improvement!

And here's another theory. dbuske and icey are actually both video game geniuses, and we're all just too dumb to understand there awesomeness...

YOU ARE ONE OF THEM!!!  ;D

Damn! I've been figured out! Time for Plan B!

Can we force dbuske to play all Icey games and vice versa?

I've actually got a conspiracy theory that dbuske and Icey are one and the same. Contact the president, some shit's going down!

And here's another theory. dbuske and icey are actually both video game geniuses, and we're all just too dumb to understand there awesomeness... Of course if we're using this theory in conjunction with my initial theory, we're all just too dumb to understand dbicey's awesomeness...

Wait, now I'm just getting confused.

General Discussion / Re: scummVM?
Fri 22/07/2011 23:51:21
I brought this up on the ScummVm website a while back, and it was discussed a fair amount. There were some potential problems that arose, but I think one of the main problems is that no one is really interested in porting it because it's still under active development. Maybe this could be a help.

I'd take it, but the movie just seems so damn idiotic to me. I'm really ashamed at Harrison Ford. I think he's a great actor and is still totally capable, but he's chosen some really crappy roles lately. Indy4 was the biggest let down I've ever seen. His last movie that I actually found satisfying was Firewall.

Am I wrong to believe that this game is progressing at an accelerated pace?

I must apologize. I know that I agreed to beta test, but certain things came up, and I just don't have time...

General Discussion / Sam & Max Question
Sun 17/07/2011 17:37:09
Last night, my brother pointed something out to me that I find really peculiar. He mentioned that Sam from Sam & Max always reminded him of Dan Aykroyd. I didn't really understand what he meant until he showed me some clips on YouTube, but now, I totally understand what he means. They both speak in a really similar manner, which is really fast, but sounding intellectual. I've searched Google, but there's no mention of any relation. What does everyone think about this? If you want to see what I mean, just check out some YouTube videos of Dan Aykroyd. I'd post some here, but my sound isn't working at the moment.

I just want to chime in and say that Project 64k has been around for ages.

I want to chime in and say that I had a version of Project 64 since 2001, and I don't think it was even the original version...

We will update the image above with the recent advances (all of the prologue), next step: "Death Traps".

The Idol Proyect Has started :)

Those death traps may just be one of THE greatest pieces of Adventure Gaming EVER! And I can't wait to see what you guys do with the car chase later on. That may be my favorite scene from any movie ever!

Wait a second. I'm confused. What's a "morin?" And "get's?" What about "antrying?" And "tod," of course. And you made several mentions of a "gohst?" What about "freind?" And "disier?" I'm a bit confused about the meaning of the word "avange." And what does "trinying" mean?

Oh, and you said that the game should be available in 211 (I'm either assuming that you're talking about A.D. or that was just a typo.)

Anyway, sounds like an interesting game. I look forward to playing it.
