OK, since I played the game, I think it's my duty to comment on it.
First of all, the only thing I didn't like was the game's length. It was too short. However, I shouldn't complain about that, since you said that it's less then an hour of gameplay.
The idea is nice and the atmosphere is brilliant. Some (not many) of the dialogues could be improved, but the writing in general is very good.
The music is GREAT. I have listened to the non-digital soundtrack but it still rules.
I don't mind the lack of puzzles at all. The story is plot-driven and the plot is interesting enough to compensate for that.
And finally, the thing I like the most...
BACKGROUND ART! I really really REALLY loved it! It fits with the atmosphere so well and even on its own it is brilliant.

So, what you should do (in my opinion) is to make a full length game (or movie) with similar (or the same?) characters, story and definitely the same style of drawing. And add some up-down walking cycles.

For Nostradamus:
Yes, well, I think EVERYONE ho has played the game complained about the small icons, so I won't use them again :-)
As for hints...

Spoiler

Those two problems are related. You have to solve the trapdoor puzzle first. Explore the kitchen REALLY REALLY carefully

Hmmmmmmm, okay, here are some:

Silent Night, Bloody Night
The Exorcist
Evil Dead 1
The Shining (brrrrrrrr...)
Ringu (brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!)
Prince of Darkness (when I was young)
The Howling (after watching it a few hundred times it's not so scary, but it's still one of my all-time favorites)

and of course, the scariest thing EVER...

The Omen

It's finally there! My first game! Actually, not first, it's third, but I don't count the previous two.
Anyway, it's about a Scotland Yard inspector who has to find a beautiful ring lost by a girl. Don't let the lame idea put you off. The lack of quality should put you off, mwahahahaah!!!
The game is pretty short, about as an average RON game. The style of graphics is similar, too. Only the puzzles are a bit weirder.

I think when Lucky Luke shoots the pail and the plater takes it, he gets the normal pail again (without holes). But you CAN use that pail with the snake (i.e. the pail with holes appears instead of it).

Larry 7: Love for SALE. The crappiest LSL game ever, but part 5 came pretty close.

That is NOT an adventure game!
Why does it have to be lesbians? ::) :o :'( :-* :-\ :-X :-[ :P ::) ;) :D ;D :P :-[ :-X :-\ :-* :P :P :P ::) 8) :-\

Why not? At least I prefer playing a Lesbian game rather than a gay adventure. ;D

Couldn't agree more.

Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And best wishes to George Bush and Tony Blair, too. I hope you guys have a looooooooooong vacation in Den Haag!

Toefur, just make the possibility to skip the "naughty" scenes, that shouldn't be too hard.
Or you have to DECEIVE your brother into thinking it's nice and decent game? That is not so easy :-)

Come on guys, Norway SUCKS! They lost to BOSNIA!!!

By the way, Serbia will kick ass in World Cup 2006!

320x200 is perfectly fine, but the drawings have to be in close-up then  :)

QuoteIs it going to be a real porn, or something more... soft?
In any case, it's a cool idea, I'll definitely play the game when you finish it.

I dunno, I suppose you'd call it soft. There'll be lots of naked girls... but not really any hardcore sex or anything... sorry to disappoint  ;)

Believe it or not, it's not a disappointment :-) I prefer LSL style nudity to traditional Hentai games (i.e. much more explicit).

I'd probably be the guy who takes a shotgun and kills them all. Oh, wait, they haven't made that episode yet.

Fact one: We all love m0ds, especially when he's drunk.

Fact two: I haven't played Grim Fandango. Even more, I haven't played A SINGLE QUEST GAME (!!!!!!!!!)
