You talking about the warlock room? I agree trial-and-error-doom, but very fun in my opinion, and that doesn't classify as a maze in any way!

There exists no VGA version of Quest for Glory 1. Do not speak such folly ever again. Ever. Again.

Nah, I guess cross-post is too invasive. Those that are interested already know what's going on I guess.
#1406
These are all fine guesses and yeah, good idea with the spoiler tags. Now, how do we get the masses at gen gen listen to the songs and post too? The more guesses the better. Do I cross-post?

Geoff didn't send his pm yet. But I guess people can start guessing. Here's a trick so this kinda works: you can use up to three different epithets to describe the song, and even if we don't get an exact match (although that's the best scenario) I'll be the judge of what guess came close enough to count. Or as we say around here, to COUTN.

Do not use that tutorial.

just bumping this to say that soon this'll go into phase 2 soon, any last-nimute entries...

Haven't played yet, but they sound like honest crits, which you can take or leave of course.

yeah if you're not gonna mess with the gray tones any more (adding shadows or rubbing out highlights) settle somewhere a bit brighter. Right now you're punching holes through you lineart with such deep tone.

and I really really suggest you lose the point gradient in the background centered on the flare. If you're going to do comic-book style art, stylize light. Don't think of it too literally. Don't say 'well, we have a flare, so a smooth gradient will suggest the light I want' I think it clashes. Experiment with bridging from pure black to pure white through inked patterns, be them dots, cross-catching, dry-brush smearing, ink wash, whatever else than click-gradient-you're done.

Westwood had some of the best art back in the day, and I'm mainly thinking Lands of Lore here, but Kyrandia 2 is also top of the pile. The drop-anything-anywhere-oh-make-potions-also gui of the games and the puzzles never appealed to me but I finished the first two back when I was young and didn't know any better. Fireberry maze sucks boston penis, though. And Zanthia is really annoying. But, dude, huge sentient white mickey glove! Points!

Mills, your life design is really outdated. You didn't even have to use an inflatable duckie or say, mustache wax... elementary and trite, sorry. I am hoping Mills Quest 2 has better lateral puzzles.

It makes me sound like somebody who doesn't care about gang-founding, scumbag murderers regardless of what they do while in prison for 25 years.

I am the one changing my profile information. Please don't enter anything there, I don't like having stuff about me on the internet. Appreciate you doing it, squinky, but.
