I completely hate pantera and their mind-numbing redneck idiocy.

QuoteHow can you be sure your morals would suppress your human instinct though?

That's what I'm saying, I am not sure at all.

QuoteBut seriously you wouldn't shoot back at someone? What if someone shot at your friend?

Yeah, seriously, as in all jokes aside my morality dictates that I do not. Whether I would or not depends on circumstance and self-control or lack thereof
#1503
if I didn't fall short of my morals when under stress, no. I'd probably run away and hide quite more readily.

this all isn't at all about logistics for me. I don't hold utilitarian ethics, so the amount of people it would save or condemn if I killed or didn't kill someone never comes into the equation. My morality dictates that I not kill any human being ever, and if i did, it would be an ethical lapse that is extraordinary and cannot be negotiatied 'within' my moral context. To answer your question, I might have killed the spy, in your scenario, because I am human and weak and fall short of my own beliefs, but my morality would certainly dictate towards any but this course of action.

welcome to the wonder that is floyd rose.

Personally, I've heard so much complaining about those getting out of tune, I made sure to pick up a guitar without a whammy bar. Don't need it for my style of playing, personally. Of course it has to do with how much you use the whammy bar, and of course you should know there's no such thing as strings that don't go out of tune. Just put them back into tune, and change your strings every month or so.

sound quality is fine.

I like this piece a lot. I like the dynamics and the omnious feeling of the lurking part. Awesomely jagged at the beginning, although the violinist slurs some pizzicato bits a bit too much. Better than if you had to use sampled instruments for this, though. What you have a problem with in the first busy part is that phrases aren't defined enough, they kind of blur through each other, segments sometimes are good. This would need more 'clues' of when a phrase resolves.

I like the lurking part, but the thing is, I was expecting a Gnomus-like Mussorgsky fast abrupt chromatic scale run at the end or something to tie it off. I'd do that, personally, even if it sounds very obvious.

more chainmail rules than d&d rules... d&d evolved out of strategy gaming, not the other way around. Can't really liken it to anything that isn't tactical tabletop strategy. the minatures have hit point, stats, do damage according to weapons, have morale etc etc

As with eric in this case, I was far more interested in the pieces than playing the game. After a few games it showed that it wasn't for me, really. Never actually went out and bought a full army, but I did have a blast painting my blood angels back in the day. I am well versed in the universe history and rules although I don't actually play anymore.

I also think the light would have some sort of colour upon entry due to the stain glass, although ive never really studied the stuff so i could be wrong.

Even if realistically this does not occur ( I do not know if it does or not ) you should probably go ahead and do it because it would look awesome. And awesome > reality. LENS FLARE!!

...of Azimuth or something.

That's the game, yeah.
#1517
You know what's going to be awesome? When your daughter, 15 or 16, around that time, brings a godless heathen with long hair and a motorhead patch on the back of his leather jacket and wearing a Godflesh t-shirt, home. She introduces him as her boyfriend, coupled with a few well placed 'I like him because he reminds me of you, dad' whenever you try to say something.

"What's up, god-man? Been to church lately?"
