don't expect to understand complicated chord voicings without knowledge of the underlying music theory. Just basic stuff about intervals explains why a chord is a sustain chord or an augmented chord etc etc. very basic interval theory is a must for anyone playing any sort of music.

3 has quite awful, but me and my friend seem to be the only two people in the world to think so, so go ahead and play.

Enjoy your plotting.

ah the dreaded amazing technical player who just can't... keep... time. Awful. Play along with music you like. Connect the guitar to the computer, run it through Guitar Rig and don't worry about physical amps for practise. Practise scales more than chords. When you think you're good enough, go play with people. Any people you can find that will jam with you.

because the gameplay suffers a lot there as well and it's quite the game to play for the story only too?

if you want to talk about rules, fluke should be banned. But I guess it's better to have a forum such as this with lax rules than one with neurotically upheld rules. I can deal with a couple of flukeblakes if I have to. Do the same.

yeah I'm not sure the original post belongs here, but you tutoring him is not the solution at all.

two women cut in half and joined at the wound is subtle horror now?

the silent hill games up to 3 have no gameplay of note. They get to you via repetition of the same themes and things to do. The boring things is PART of how the atmosphere gets to you. I don't like playing these games. I enjoy watching a friend of mine play them, and we just discuss them as they progress. Might want to consider doing that.

What you must realise is that in the end, so called "beautiful backgrounds" are not necessarily adding to gameplay. I more tend to enjoy highly unprofessional art since of it's naïve qualities. Graphics should contribute to gameplay. If you only strive to make the game look good, you miss the points. AGI games rock, but are they visually appealing? Yes and no. Yes because they are coherent and functional but No because they have a god awful color scheme.

Thanks. I guess I should really explain that I am not a bad drawer. I was quite good at one time, but I stopped drawing several years ago. I can surely draw a framework and color it with photoshop. The reason I don't like that approach is becase I'm unsure of the response a game like that would receive. I have a really solid story, and good puzzles, so I really want everything to be at that level. I'm a perfectionist by nature, and I hate releasing something that I am not impressed with.

So basically, I do have the talent to draw up some standard old school backgrounds, but I wouldn't be satisfied with them. But as I said, I am starting to get a better feel for filtering photos to make them look more like paintings, and it's working pretty well.

what does the occult have to do with hypnosis?

Well Helm, not so long ago in countries pretty near to us people used to put hypnosis in the occult basket. Some people had even put accupuntcure and other "skills" in the same basket, but as we all know it, definitions of something change during time. As people get more accustomed to things they tend to put it in their comfort zone and accept it as an everyday thing. You shouldn't be surprised if after a few dozens of years you see things in our reality as a normal thing whereas today you would associate it to crazy psychists, and socialy uncredible shamans and people alike.
If there is a need to define occult, in my eyes i would define it as something that uses more than average use of the mind, which i think is something we should all be doing and should be researched more professionally.

So the answer to your question would be another question:
What doesn't the occult have to do with hypnosis?

Also, my spelling could be bad in the text so i apologize.

I.

thanks

Terran, did the process of putting someone under hypnosis come to you naturally, armed with only the laborious knowledge of having seen one too many hollywood movies where someone counts backwards towards lucidity or something? I don't think you can do something so procedural and controlled by accident.

And if you did, you do realize poking around in someone's head while they're in a very exposed state to put stuff like LOL SUCK MY DICK and LOL FLASH ME WHENEVER I SAY CRAZY HORSE LOL might possibly be well, morally wrong for one, psychologically dangerous for another and lastly just slightly more than a bit creepy?

I mean, I know she's your girlfriend and everything, but you might want to let her hang on to
such choices as to when and why she might want to flash you.
