I know know exactly how we will get from Athens to there, and it involves two busses, and a taxi ride.

Could you share this information, oh thunderous goat-meister?
For those who plan to arrive separetely?

Oh, and we'll bring a tent. I thought about sleeping with La Lore and Farlander (thanks for the offer you little, but big-spirited Spaniard!), but I don't know how open-minded they are to nocturnal freshly-weds' activities... do you swing?

You go to Liosion street 206 in Athens you get a ticket for the KTEL that goes to Agia Anna. There's two busses. One that goes there twice a day, and is relatively close to the camp-site, and other more frequent, that goes two villages away from it. Either you decide to take, you're going to have to take a cab from your destination to Agia Anna Camping. About 8 euro cab fare, I was told. Less if you take the closer bus.

I have no cellphone, sorry.

I have the adress now, but it's loose. It's 'Agia Anna Beach, North Evoia'. Doesn't get more specific than that, but it's a very well known place. The telephone number there is

2227 097250 / 097100

I know know exactly how we will get from Athens to there, and it involves two busses, and a taxi ride.

The important news/minor setback: THERE ARE NO TENTS TO RENT. I REPEAT: IF YOU WERE THINKING ABOUT RENTING A TENT, RECONSIDER. There's only 2-3 tents (will know for sure tommorow) to rent, so if you have tents, BRING THEM AT ALL COSTS. If you dont and can't afford to buy one, do so. Otherwise some might be sleeping in the dirt or even worse, backed in with ME AND MY GOATS in a 2 person tent. We are 18 people (last time I checked), we have 10 tent spots. Work the magic, make it happen.

The airport strikes suck ass. Delays are ok... cancellations are gonna make me cry.

George was supposed to be a somewhat obnoxious yet charismatic american tourist, right? GGothic is right about the characters being generic.

in light of this, this year's mittens will have a dress code: Male bikini mandatory. Even on the girls.

I don't care for the 'how long have you been around' thing. I was gone for years, I recently came back, hey.

I didn't want to discourage you from doing comics. But this isn't a 'comic' even. Break out the pencil and paper. Create your own characters and leave Kinoko and Zor and whomever else alone. Figure out storylines, do whatever you want, and since you're young it will probably suck at first, but it will get better if you keep at it.

I'd probably suggest to stop clinging on this community as much as you are... 'ags comics'? Come on. You probably won't listen to me, but hey.

I'm not sure if I had joined the forums at that time either, but this is an unreadable mess with no redeeming qualities whatsoever. No art, no humour, no storyline, no nothing. Better direct your efforts elsewhere.

I tried calling today and the phone was down. Will try later.

Mods: there'll be a minibus to take us to the sea, so I guess that indirectly answers the question: probably outside walking range. Although they could just mean that the minibus will take us to other locations, and there's sea nearby. We will see I guess.

CJ: I'll ask for the full adress, as well as telling them that we'll be probably renting tents, and how much that will be in extra money, when I can get them on the phone. Hopefully luggage will be where it's intended, though. Even if I had the adress, I don't see airport people travelling 3 hrs or whatever to bring your misplaced luggage to you. I see them calling you to go back and get them from the airport.

I like how That Guy is all 'rockstart put omg excuse me left that content in there lol' where this seemingly trivialized aspect of this case is the most important. That Guy, you've said nothing that explains how the blame is shifted from the person that HACKS A PROGRAM to the company that made the content. Is hacking the program - no matter how easy the hack -  to get stuff out of it included in the Terms Of Use of the software? Isn't that what your silly rating organization governs? The content seen in a normal playing of a game?

No amount of lol and italics changes that. The people who downloaded third party software to see pixelly sex did it on their own volition, and nobody in the world should get the blame for stuff THEY DID. If 'The Fly' is on tonight after midnight, and my son wants to see it and I tell him no, but then he goes up to his room and hacks the cable line and sees it in his psp or something... I'll ground him, not sue Sony.

QuoteWould it be okay for a company to release "Happy Fuzzy Bunny Quest", rated E, and more or less have a GTA clone in it (that SHOULD be rated Mature) that was easily accessible, JUST so they could get their game on to Wal-mart shelves? THEN the ESRB would be entirely pointless, since young kids that are somewhat tech-savvy could learn how to do the hack and got to WalMart and buy a game that REALLY should be rater higher.

the tech-savvy kids would be to blame, then. Not the said company. They can go right ahead and stick added as expansive added content in places where under Terms Of Use you can't reach it for all I care. I can't see why this isn't clear to everybody. When you do something with full intent, prepare to face the music. You bought Happy Fuzzy Bunny Quest, yet what you want to see is blood and guts in game. Tell me what you see wrong in that picture. The americans are just diverting attention from the real problems

it's not EGA, it's the (vastly superior) c64 palette, but thank you.

Progz means that people played this not keeping in mind what sort of atmosphere we were trying to emulate, and what demands that atmosphere makes on the player. This game was an experiement in oldschool 'so bad that it's good!' design. You can see this in the writing, and the antiquated modes of gameplay. It was intentfully made to be more difficult than most standard ags fare, and aspects of the game design were accented to add to the 'oldscool c64' feel. Most people here never have played a c64 game, or indeed any game that didn't require more than a passing interest in it to be enjoyed fully, so they wouldn't know.

Here's another orow game on an individual release.

Made Ghormak and Helm. I did the art and most of the design, Ghormak did the scripting and the awesome SID music. We liked making it almost as much everybody else liked not playing it. This release has more help for people who found it too difficult, as well as some SIKRETS.

blah blah orow game no point to post screenshots blah blah

Exactly. Sierra didn't develop Half Life either. Valve did. If someone, anyone bought a FPS going 'OMG SIERRA LOGO, MUST BE GOOD LIKE HALF-LIFE' well... let's just say it's an argument for stupidity, not marketing ploys.

QuoteThe game has nothing to do with the old company, but people will recognize the name, and buy the game.

Are you serious? People who were into sierra's adventure game period got wiser after the last King's Quest game or something. Nobody will guy a game because it will have the sierra name on it thinking it will be an adventure game, or even good for that matter.
