if you have to bring an entourage, so be it. It's your vacation, I can't stop you. The idea is for mittens people to come mainly, but I don't think anyone would object to an exception.

Personally I wouldn't mind if someone made a game where you eat fresh raw babies. Most people would, and will be upset if a theme they feel strongly about is TAKEN LIGHTLY in a game. The kennedy game, although I haven't played it, it just that - a gimmick, KILL KENNEDY YOURSELF. If it was a well thought-out murder mystery, with extensive backround material, rounded characters etc etc up to the day where you control the sniper rifle(s) nobody would mind. In fact, they'd be pleasantly surpised to see a topic such as this be treated with due seriousness and respect instead of VIETNAM - KILL AS MANY CHARLIE AS YOU CAN YOU ARE THE HERO levels of game-design we usually get.

So, if you approach real life in your game, do you research, portray things evenly, so even if someone gets angry, your position is fortified.

I like how you neatified my joke code. But checking every machine cycle for an indefinite ( or close to indefinite ) amount of time isn't exactly productive. The only benefit of your code over mine is that it waits for conditions ment to stop waiting, and that defeats the purpose! Anyway, something special happens after exactly 24000 cycles, let me tell you.

As las said, this comes in waves, and most old members have been riding them for close to five years, is it? More your perception than reality. Might help if one goes away for a while. I did leave, and now that I'm back the forums seem way more like a help forum revolving around AGS plus random silliness (as originally intended?),  than an OMG COMMUNITY THIS IS MY INTERNET HOME WHEE! place.

Las: hardcore came from 'hardcore punk' whichi isn't the same as hardcore, or punk. It's silly, but people like to overclassify. Depends on who you ask on what is hardcore and what is not. I tend to call 'hardcore punk' bands hardcore, like old Husker Du, Minutemen, early DRI, UK Subs, Crumbsuckers etc because I'm too ashamed to admit that the current wave of retarded slayer-meets-madball type of bands exist, much less deserve their own genre.

My personal metal favourites include early progressive metal/involved thrash metal like Coroner, Psychotic Waltz, Mekong Delta, Deathrow, Midas Touch, Watchtower, Sieges Even, Megace to doom metal like Candlemass, Shape of Despair, Skepticism, Evoken to some extremely idiosyncratic and unclassifiable bands like Maudlin of the Well, The 3rd and the Mortal, Unholy

I can't say that I don't find this thread a bit ironic, but hey. Monkey boy in particular needs to wind down I agree, and if I had my way, flukeblake would be banned for a few months but otherwise, it seems like business as usual around here.

Maybe it's your perception that has shifted, Yufster.

This is great news! Awesome, Glodmnu. We'll be happy to have you, I hope you and your wench enjoy greece. Well I know you will. If she doesn't, punch her, it's allowed here.

Now if Dart also decides to come, the nerd sausagefest aspect of mittens will be greatly diminished :( :(

soad, NIN, Manson aren't really metal. maybe soad. Depends on how linient you are with nu-metal.

'screamo' is not a metal, but emo/punk. Maybe you mean various extreme metal bands who utilize screetchy black metal vocals?

I don't want to sound like a OMG METAL IS METAL guy but I guess evil, you don't really know what metal is?

QuoteThey both take metal and turn it into something people can really listen to.

If I understand what you mean right here, I gotta say I really dissagree.

I'd with with, if there is a reference, it's a subconscious one. And yeah as it was said, looking back at these graphics, they could stand a lot of refining.

I don't understand what is so difficult in rating your efforts in art, scripting, music and puzzles realistically. But if it's such a big deal, ok, we can all agree to not vote for ourselves.

Let's just say it's marginally more ok to see roger in newbie games than a HUGE ROTATING 3D POSER MODEL
