CGA comes in two flavours in pc games to make a long story short:

Cancer purple - Radioactive Blue - Colorblind Gray

Shit Brown - Puke Green - Blood clot Red.

Either halfbrite, or fullbrite for EYE DEATH. Awful, awful adapter.

Steve, I want to kiss you. I am going to be using this for the next OROW game I'll be making with Gore. If there was any chance of this going 640x480 (or 800x600, the background size for an one-room game can deal with hugeness) it would be even better. So wonderful to have this.

Dan: I was not involved with making art for Fatman. Ionias did that all on his own. I don't even know what you're on about another Gorillaz game, I won't even bother trying to understand, suffice to say I have not made any games about that pop band either. You make no sense.

Calacver: 'rivalling commerical games' I think a lot of people would benefit from coming to terms with what the special restrictions but more importantly special priviledges of being an amateur game designer are about. I don't think we should be trying to look like the big boys. We shouldn't be modelling our games after theirs. There's a different niche here for our work, and it's special because it's not product and therefore challenging, new and sometimes even downright odd things can be attempted. Adventure games like a single passenger in a space ship locked in philosophical discourse with the ship's main AI, or adventure games about planning a robbery through a series of minigames, or adventure games about surviving in a gladiatorial arena through careful strategy and combat skill. Not another CMI. Not enough Broken Sword. Not another King's Quest. If some people on these boards wanted to work in the commercial industry, they right well could. Don't you think there's a reason they're not persuing that?

Not everybody here wants to make something that is similar, or trying to be better than CMI or this Vampyre Story game. That is not the apex that this community should be gearing towards, in my opinion.

There's lots of people here with much more crowd-pleasing art styles than me, why don't you search around and include them to your little lineups.

What I see from this thread is 'this is a list of people I like' or even worse 'this is a list of people I think I should mention to be accepted' and the moderators should know better than to let it roll.

You're operating under the misconception your zany omg insulting! internet act is funny and interesting, despite it being offensive. Maybe others disagree with me, but I don't think it is either. You'd benefit to realize that even if mocking people were accepted on this forum, you still don't do a funny or interesting job of it. When you realize this, it'll be all the more easier to bottle that shit up and behave like a regular person.

The issue is a simple one, for me: you're 15 years old and therefore shouldn't be on this forum at all. Your baby steps towards achieving self-control are wonderful, but perhaps you should let your dad know instead of us. If you persist and remain on these forums, solely because CJ doesn't like banning people, try to keep the exciting developments on the Dan_N_Gamez becoming a regular person front to yourself.

InCreator, what you're saying strikes me as odd.

There's a huge gap from a dark game mostly obscured in shadows with a few bumpmaps like this, and UnrealTournament2007, or Crysis or what have you. I thought this was plain to see, but apparently it's not?

Creating art assets for 3d that look good is extremely difficult.

Making a good looking 3d game is extremely difficult.

Making good level design is extremely difficult.

There's nothing easy about all this.

I enjoy this enough, even though the writing is meh. Shows how physics make old puzzles new and enjoyable again. Totally a step in the right direction. I can only hope for more FPAGs.

You had my sympathy until you called her a slut, really. I don't see how she's a slut. Her behaviour was misleading, she took advantage of you, but she didn't behave like a slut, for example sleeping with you and then cutting you off and then doing the same to your dad the next day or something.

This should teach you a lot about shielding yourself from people, but it doesn't really say anything about internet relationships besides that they're hard. Well, no shit. All relationships have their hard parts, internet stuff focuses on getting rid of the 'internet' part eventually, while the various issues with real relationships are scattered but numerous as well.
