Don't you think it would be better if people included more niche genres to ESC and if the competition was actually all about the music? Not to say I care about the competition, but bringing in diversity is irrefutably a good thing and it would inherently make the competition more credible.

No actually I don't believe there's any redeeming quality in a musical competition of any type.

I know the whole genre-thing sucks balls, but if I had to classify Lordi, I wouldn't call them a heavy metal band. After all, even the band itself doesn't classify themselves as a heavy metal band.

The Lordi guy in interviews goes on about how he'd like to see more hard rock and heavy metal music in eurovision, like they're comparable things. Hard Rock and Heavy Metal are very different things. It doesn't take just a distortion pedal to be metal. So yeah, I wouldn't like to see Heavy Metal in eurovision. Why would that be good?

Patience is a prerequisite to making games, same goes for just about any other creative persuit. There's nothing that does what you are suggesting unfortunately. Organising 500 freehand bitmaps into views is exactly what every other person making a game has done... it's a very small amount of time compared to actually drawing them.

Squinky, I went in and looked at the art and process closely. I've seen more photorealistic art. If I had to assume, this is real. Just another opinion by a guy that has seen a lot of art, take that as you will.
