You can move to Africa. They can have several wives there.

How about several husbands?

1. How many frenchmen can't be wrong?
2. Do you use the old-fashioned Iceman, and if so, do you find him sufficent for keeping  the house warm?
3. If God exists, who would his favourite Beatle be?

1. One.
2. I don't use the old-fashioned Iceman.
3. Ringo.

1. What's the deal with airplane food?
2. What's the best word of all time, in your personal humble opinion?
3. What's the "N" word? In "Evil Dead 3: Army of Darkness" of course.

That's awesome. How'd you attach them to your wall?

I don't seem to have the right font, so all the letters were dots to me.  :(

Yeah, the speech files are in ogg. WAV and MP3 don't work well with AGS.

Of course you know me HB, "beat me up, Scotty!", errr, I mean count me in on the Beta-testing.
Good to know you're making such progress on the game (is it ready yet? Hurry up ya lazy bum! heheh  ;) .

All righty then. I wouldn't say that I've made major progress lately, since I've been sucked back into the system. But it's getting there, slow and steady.

Heh, I wish. No, they're done by a really talented voice actor named Sonny.

Thanks for the nice comments, even those I didn't understand.

In other news, I could use some beta-testers when I finish this. If this sounds interesting, and you're one serious beta-testing motherlover, please PM me or reply here.

Here's what I'm expecting from beta-testers:

*Check for programming errors/crashes
*Check for bugs(misplaced animations etc)
*Check for spelling/grammar errors. This is not obligatory, but appriciated.
*Check if text matches speech.
*Comment if there's something you don't understand, or something you find illogical. Don't be too picky on that subject though.  :P
*Not ask me every fourth hour if the game is done yet. Not saying any of you will, but better safe than bothered. :)
*Report the overall enjoyment of the game.

All beta-testers will be credited, of course.

I don't see how this law is a problem, unless you make a living out of pestering people over the Internet. On the other hand, I don't hope too much recources is wasted on this.

HillBilly - it'd be great to get a preview for BreakOut, I'll PM you at a later stage to discuss that.

I'll be eagerly awaiting.

The game looks great :) Also the voice samples are really good. Do you need some more voice actors for other characters? I'd want to take part.

Looking great there, Hillybilly. Some nice voice-samples too. If you need some more voice-actors, I could give it a try. :)

Thanks guys, but I already got what I need of voices. It's just three or four characters in the game. :)

Yeah what kind of band name is "The Mars Volta" anyway?

To contribute, I got nothing. All the good stuff was released in '04, or is due to be released in '06.

I can help out on developer previews(only from break-out, though), tips, techniques and tutorials, if needed. If not, congratulations on starting this! It sounds awesome to the full degree, and I hope it'll go far.

I'd rather the graphics were rather old school 320*200/240, because we dont really need a bigger resolution, do we? Share your opinion.

I'm not talking size, I'm asking if the graphics will be low-res/pixelated or hi-res/anti-aliased/vector.
#378
This sounds fun, but how many people will work on the different games? Will there be one person, will there be a small team, will each AGS-er in the game draw and animate themselves etc? It would be nice with some more detailed details.

I could probably help out with some graphics if it's needed. You've seen my stuff, but I don't know what you had in mind graphically. Maybe you want to keep this old school.

Maybe if the banners linked to the different games? I don't know, maybe I'm making a big deal out of nothing. But it would solve the whole "what are the games?" problem.

Reaganator comes as a bonus, because of the deep lyrics:

The Reaganator and the U.S.A! We'll kill anything that gets in our way!
We're the good guys, so you have to die, that's why!
Nuclear grenade launchers to slaughter by the millions,
GPS-lock targeting that only kill civilians,

Impressive in it's creation, but still, it's got Alzheimers!
