i think i have made it to level 18 or something on nightmare(it aint that hard)

Go for teh double pack, DOTT is the best adventure game ever(after lsl1)
and S&M is playable.
i dont  think gf is a 'real' adventure game at all._.

in room script.

do you mean xp professional or win 2003 server then?

try reinstalling AGS, and check if the ags files isnt read-onyl(could be the problem)

try to dl the latest drivers.
and you can trry to cange the IRQ, there should be some jumpers for it on the motherboard.
look in the manual on how to set them.

I think you will have to script everything(not sure)did just test it some months ago.
look in the manual for the functions.

just put your music in the game folder and name it like:
music01
music03
music04
and for sounds it is soundXX instead.
just like naming rooms!
then when you want to use the music just write 1 for music01 2 for music02 etc
