For some reason this picture reminds me of the airplane in Zak McKracken. :)

*wonders if you can pick up the seat cushions in this bus*

Looks good! Depending on the style of your game, I'm interested to see how you will colour this one.

Hello. :)

Been on and off here for a lot of months, finally decided to invest a bit more into this community... as much as real life will permit me, though...

...good to be here!

Wow, this indeed looks very, very professional! As mentioned before, the attention to detail is fantastic. Keep up the great work!

Oh, wow. This is really good! Just wish those AVI's had music under them, they just scream "SUSPENSE!" at you... reminds me of the 11th Hour. :) (in a good way, in case you're wondering)

Indeed, it looks very good! It's very cartoony, but in a mature way, if you know what I mean. Kinda reminds me of how they transferred the Indiana Jones movies to a game.

There's one little niggle, and it has to do with the animation on the webpage you linked to about "characters" in your first post.

The animated walking guy besides the stormtrooper... his hands. I don't know anyone who waves his hands about so much when they walk...

...well, ok, maybe I do, but that's not the point.  ;)

But other than that, looking good!

*grin* the graphics have a certain garfield-esque style to them, so you did that right. It looks like a fun game to play!

Thanks Vel :)

I love this one! Somehow it reminds me a teeny weeny bit of the 7th Guest, although this is much, much more stylish. :)

I already have a few things that could be turned into puzzles, if you're willing?

Perhaps we should have a chat in a forum I just created on the game's page? If you register, I can make the forum "invisible" to others. :)

Hard to say, really. I'm hoping this year, but I don't want to rush it. Right now I'm looking at about 10 rooms done, but with 50 or so more to go before it's completed.

And there's all the characters to come into it, and the puzzles... Aargh. :)

Anyone willing to help design a few puzzles? *grin*

Just wanted to say: WOW.

Played FoA lots of times... now, can't wait for this one!

Delay the game until mid 2005 and you're releasing at the same time as the new movie!

On second thought: Don't.  ;)

== The Strange Day ==

Updated: 21th of July, 2003.

It is perhaps the most powerful moment of the night. That precarious border between night and dawn, when the sun is about to send its first greyness into the early morning skies. It is at this moment that the forces of the night are at their strongest, just before waning away into the shadows.

At such a time, the first kidnapping happened. A scream cut through the night, followed by a big splash of water and then... only silence. What befell this poor soul, up so early? What dangers lurk in the shadows of our world, forever struggling to return to it? Difficult questions to answer... are you sure you want to know the answer?

Yes, the Daonne Sidhe are trying to regain their powers of old. You, as Ben, soon find both your parents abducted and you the next victim! You can now get a taste of what the final game will offer in terms of graphics, gameplay and atmosphere.

I am actually looking for two people to help me out with two things...

1) Music
I suck at making MIDI files. I am secretly hoping one of the musical masterminds in these fora are willing to help me out. I'm looking for a rather ochestral soundtrack not at all unlike Gabriel Knight 1. MIDI, of course.

2) Sound Effects
If anyone could help me with the sound effects, that would be appreciated too. Right now, the game is severely lacking in the audio department.

That being said... enjoy this demo! And any comments regarding it, please let me know!

I loved it to bits! Of course I had to walk off the ledge the first time I loaded the game. Cool voice-overs, although "Greg" sounds a bit creaky on my speakers.

The narrator rocks, he really brings the game to life. And I even managed to solve this game! :)

Loved the small blurbs where Greb went mental. :)

I, too, love this game! :)

The accuse-whoever-you-want thing is really neat. Esp. the easter eggs... great humour!
