It's on the small island, on the other side of the waterfall.  It's called "strange plant" if you put your mouse over it.

Fluke, if you wanna be respected, you gotta put time in your work... Don't just throw some patterns into two rectangles, make some pencil lines and write some text, actually spend a few minutes drawing details.

Not so much of a "leave him alone, he's just a stupid kid" as a "leave us alone unless you feel like putting some effort in!"

I'd participate in something like this, but someone ought to look at the members page.  Almost 3000 people, most of them with none to 3 posts?  Mabye this could help bring them into the community, or mabye it will waste all our time with people who sign up simply to say "i like pie" and leave.

It looks like you're using the dodge tool alot to try and show the room's light sources, it gives many of the objects in there a bleached look.  Also it looks like you overused the burn tool on the cabinet, and you outlined all of the walls like that as well, which like farlander said is a very weird coloring effect and generally not too appealing to the eye.

Your shading on the poster is unneccecary, since a piece of paper wouldn't emit a shadow anyway.  However, most of the time your shading looks like a circle, one side light one side dark and touching in the middle.  Once again, that's a weird effect to use on your work.

Anyway, keep working and you'll get better.  And listen to what farlander said, because those tutorials can be useful.

I honestly have no respect for someone who simply says "Bush sucks because he's hitler."  People who mindlessly insult any politician makes me think "shut up, and come back when you decide to make an argument".
QuoteWow... No, seriously, just wow... You know VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY little about communism, and the concept of it. Wow.
That's what someone said on the mmorpgmaker forums, on a discussion about communism.  That kind of comment is just plain stupid (especially when this comment was made to a short-tempered moderator).  A friend of mine (well, not really, he just sorta follows us and acts like an asshole) said this: "You know, steven, I think you could be a politician someday.  Yea, you should become the president.  I can imagine your inaguration speech: "I'm a republican, screw all the democrats!  I am evil!  Free guns to all convicted criminals!"  And this was during a serious political debate, which really angered me.

No, I'm not really that angry at this thing, it's just not funny or serious and thus shouldn't exist.  I hate Michael Moore type democrats who photoshop images to include a swastica(someone correct my spelling on that) instead of the american flag.

EDIT:DG, that was amusing... no matter what, there's no way anyone can find your post unfunny.

The black king's up against the wall, so all you really have to do is make it so he can't go forward in any way.  You shouldn't put the king in check right away, otherwise you'll lose the advantage of having him at the wall.

It's kinda sad though... there actually is a save button in my life... hovering above me... always... Sometimes I try to press it, but it's too far away.  So all you adventure game makers better make the save button reachable by the main character, dammit!  There's also  a quit button, but I desperately hope no one knows about it.

I like pie.

You don't need to do anything else with the black pawn once you hand back the sword, he has no need to leave the cave.  Once you finished all of the checkmates, ask rook about any other mates and the chess game should start.  It's the way I did it.

Easy there, stitches... no one was being insulting to Squinky's work... it was a constructional comment, he told him he needs to work on poses and gave him an example of what he should do.  And he's right, the poses he had on both Alice before were confusing as were the ones he had on his new orcs here. (Tito and Outlaw?  Bah, whatever...)

Talk to the rook and tell him about the sword.  He'll give you a rope, and use it on the well.  If the black pawn is in the cave, he'll see the rope and attatch items to (any but the sword)

Did you try talking to the critter in the cave, or at least kicking him until he says something useful?  Mabye you can get him to talk some sense...

My older brother recently did a craft show with my parents at a cat show (I was at a high school selling jewlery with my dad, he was with my mom) and found himself a bag of catnip.  He's looking for a cat right now to feed it to.

He's really a twisted human being.

I also vote loominous, even though the "ous" at the end of his name quite confuses me and forced me to copy it out of stevemccrea's post.

Well, that was pleasant... not to say I expected much more out of it with the "no screenshot because there's nothing much to show" comment.

I think the way you drew her face in the first one captures the femenine-but-orcish features, but the second one's chin is kinda creepy.  Stefano's edit does add femenine features, but it's a little too "pretty" for it.  IMO you should fix the chin (I know the way she's holding the cigarette, but...), and the gun barrel almost looks like it's smoking with the crack in the wall nearby.

Now THATS an idea!

...All of this on a thread dedicated to impressionable young minors such as myself.  You should be ashamed of yourself...;)

QuoteThe comic translation voted the funniest wins!
That pretty much makes it into caption contest...

Though I like the idea of a serious caption contest, I want to know what happened to the original one in the first place.  Never even got a chance to compete... :'(
