Victim 1 was tied up, victim 2 was chained:

Did the ties of victim 1 and the chains of victim 2
initially belong to each other ?
Did the victims know each other ?
Did victim 2 depend on victim 1 ?
Is the „steep slope“ the face of a building ?
Was victim 1 already dead before he fell on the ground?

Whoooah, this is a hard one
To the second victim :
Would he/she/it not have died if the first
victim wouldn‘t have died ?

I know it's a silly nickname but I have been sticking to
it since I first registered to this great site
It comes from feeling very stupid at not finding
the solution to a simple adventure game and a deep
depression over my favourite football team which was
in free fall through the leaques that time :-))

Waiting for the next riddle, still trying to figure out a nice one myself

Was the couple on a hike ?
Did they rely upon the track stored on the map on the phone ?
Did he manipulate the track?
Did they die from falling off a cliff ?
Did they die when it was dark outside ?

Was their death caused by explosives ?

Will using the Smartphone cause their death ?
Is it manipulated in some way ?

I would rather pass it to someone else
I am not a native speaker and
also, i cannot think of a suitable riddle,
lack of fantasy, i‘m afraid
Also, i can't guarantee to be online the days to come
and i would hate to make the community wait

bowl into a pot to make coffee or tea or
prepare food and Fred accidentally got into
the pot because he was so small and Anna
believed he still was in the bowl ?

Was Fred cooked in a container other than its normal habitat ( bowl, aquarium )
Was Fred's home (bowl, aquarium, whatsoever) located near the sink ?
Assuming the water was cut off, was the electricity cut off as well ?

Was it hot water coming from the tap ?
Was Fred a red herring ?  :-))

Was Fred's primary home (e.g. Aquarium) damaged ?
Did Anna leave home to get help (e.g. get water from a neighbour ) ?

Was Fred in the sink before he died ?
Did he jump out of the sink ?
Was there fresh water in the sink ?
Was there saltwater in the sink ?

Is (was)  Fred a fish ?

I love this riddle,
but i ask only two questions :
Is Anna human ? (seems not clear to me yet )
It's Fred's and Anna's home , is it also someone else's home ?
