The text reads : God's hand created water….
However, the tile for "create" and "cattle" are not visible, they are covered by
the text window
Does it have something to do with my resoultion?
I am playing in full screen mode
Hope that I don't have to start over …

I used the plank on the left canal first,
picked it up, then used it on the canal in the middle
then crossed the plank,
picked it up automatically
when I exit south, I get caught by the hooded man again, no way to escape

Putting the plank there doesn't lead me anywhere
Do I have to lure him so he gets stuck?

position of the outer ring and tried all possible combinations,

You do not need the plank yet. But a map would be very handy. Do you have the newspaper with the strange writing on the front page? What is written on the lower left corner? This should lead the way through the sewers. The starting point is the first room from where you can go south...

I took the girl to the cave, gave her the magnifier
Then she's gone, nowhere to be found
I already have the bible on me, maybe that's why?

Used magnifier to read writing but I get no message
except that it's in Enlish, no in Latin.
I guess it must have to do with the letters I and V, i.e. numbers one
and five, right? Or did I miss something in that screen?

Found a bug:
When trying to leave to the forest to the west ( screen the garden hose)
the game locks up, i.e. the message box doesn't close

You mean the first room?
The one you start in?
No way to interact with the stairs ...^
